Aldi Gourmet Jelly Beans (can you tell the difference from the big, expensive brands at 3 times the price) - 79p for 200g pack at Aldi

Almost impossible to tell the difference between these and the brand leaders like Jelly Belly and Jelly Bean Factory - except that these are just 79p for a 200g pack. Less than a third of the price you'd pay for a 'brand'.

18 flavours

cola
passion fruit
lemon and lime
raspberry
pear
pineapple
blueberry
cranberry
apple
tangerine
peach
lemon
blackberry
mango
coconut
pink grapefruit
strawberry smoothie
strawberry

Try a bag - you may never feel the need to spend three times as much money on the branded ones again!

don't have Aldi in NI, i live jelly Belly and Jelly Bean Factory is a pretty good 2nd choice. I have tried ASD's which are pretty good but my branch don't stock them anymore
nice.
Just wish we had an Aldi near us! Shame we only have Lidl, oh heat added

Normal price @ Aldi...
so are they the same size as jelly bean factory? will they work with the dispenser?
Mmm these are nice
3 times the price

thats being kind

jelly bean factory would be about £6 for 200g

fair enough there is 64 flavours but still
Yes they work with dispenser and are nice, but not as nice as jelly belly. I bought two packs and filled my dispenser. Thought they were really nice when eating them, however having now just eaten a bag of jelly belly, I have to say I can tell the difference and jelly belly are better.
I don't agree. I don't like Aldi jelly beans, and I am normally a massive fan of all their stuff. These jelly beans aren't great.
will give these a whirl when passing Aldi next, have some heat.
How is this a deal? Normal price
this isn't a deal as it's the normal price, however it is a bargain as these jelly beans are delicious. In fact, I treat myself to a bag every time I go to Aldi. Just as good as the leading brands. So HOT from me.

I don't see it as a problem listing it as a deal if they are as good as the OP states. Haven't tried them myself, but will do now I know about them.

I'd rather see good deals on here with normal prices than overinflated RRPs from Sports Direct.
Tried some of these. Not a patch on Jelly Belly and are extremely sweet, but you can't argue with the price if you all you want is a sugar fix.
I have tried these and the quality varies. Sometimes it's as though the skin is tougher. Maybe they have more than one supplier? Still good for the money.
normal price ( so voted cold), quality does vary, white ones are horrible but overall they're nice

really don't compare to gourmet jelly bean factory or jelly belly ones though
Aldi stuff is usually very good, these were rank. Give them a miss
Lots of people commenting about rrp, this isn't hotUKdiscounts!
Unaware of these, will give them a chance
Bought some earlier - best Jelly Beans ever IMO.

Bought 5 packs - YUM!

Thanks OP!
Worth a punt at that price!

Coincidentally bought a pack today. They're not bad, they're not amazing. Definitely not as nice as Jelly Belly, but for the price I'm not really complaining.
Bought some today to try. Not bad.
Some flavours (cola especially) are lovely, others are a bit average
Still available - please unexpire.
Sounds good to me! I love this type of jelly bean so I'll definitely be giving these a try. Thanks, Heat added!
do they contain gelatine?
balluji

do they contain gelatine?

No gelatine; suitable for vegetarians and gluten free
Jelly Belly are better, but these are very close and very very good. Given the price difference I'd buy the Aldi ones every time.
Any Horse DNA in them?
Very nice
I'll tell Doctor Who...
Aldi have always done products similar to the main brands that are just as good if not better than them. ie Alcohol, biscuits, pop etc. Would come as no surprise to me if these are exactly the same or better than Jelly Belly. Great deal!!!!

You can tell the difference.
davester2k

You can tell the difference.

I think so too
Have got a craving for them now. Have to buy some tomorrow.
Will need to give them a try, but the fact you compare them to Jelly Belly and Jelly Bean Factory is meaningless, Jelly Bean Factory are nothing like Jelly Belly beans, as nothing compares to them!
Just bought a packet. I'm very impressed. Yum!
