ALDI upping their game and giving the 'Big four' a real run for their money!

Offer is UK wide, bar Northern Ireland atm, including Scotland although orders made in Scotland that fall below the minimum unit pricing will be refunded.

You can find Minimum Unit Pricing for Scotland info here

e.g you can get 6 Bottles of 'Irish Country Cream' (ie a baileys clone, which tastes the same, if not better, for £22.50)

Orders will be delivered the next working day when ordered before 7pm from Monday -Thursday.

Assume if order on a Friday, it'll be delivered Monday

It doesn't have to be six bottles of spirits for free delivery - you can mix and match with their (excellent) wine.
I know, because I ordered five bottles of wine and one bottle of pink gin and got free delivery

Great idea! I'll drink to that...
Great deal - love this (bank balance wont).

Just to flag if you for whatever reason prefer your branded gins, the Fifty Eight gin listed on their site is a steal at £25, is usually quite a bit more.
Great deal
Might get the 6 bottles of Irish Country Cream (£22.50) delivered to my 93 year old nan who loves the stuff. One nanny who wouldn't appreciate a certain other taking more from her pension for apparently her own good.
thanks op! Have placed an order, says 3-5 days delivery though
Fabulous! Thank you - went into my local and they had sold out of all the new gins... Was most disappointed!

Same here - didn't complete the order because of that. Will check on Monday to see if the next day delivery is on then - maybe there's a problem being that it's Friday.
Anyone know of a voucher code?
NB I believe they use Yodel for delivery - you have been warned ..........
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Wow when you look online there seems to be a good selection and some of the bottles look really nice, I'm looking at you misses French gin

If only. Not going to happen though because the margins they operate on are too small to allow them to make a profit on anything as labour intensive as food deliveries. It wouldn't even work with Ocado doing it because of those low margins.
The elusive Pink Gin ordered, great value- cheers
Great NHS is gonna love this...
It would seem that it is free delivery over £20 not a minimum of six bottles.

Maybe it's just me but I don't see free NEXT DAY delivery on my order of nearly £100. Not getting involved in vague intentions of delivering within five business days.

If Lidl or Aldi ever start doing food deliveries, it'll take a big chunk of the big supermarket's business. It's pure laziness that means I don't shop at them as often as I should, and just order groceries online for home delivery.

No they wont as most of the fruit and veg would be rotten before it got to your house.
Why would you want less than 6 bottles?

Really? Can't say I've had an issue with Lidl veg going bad any faster than that bought from supermarkets.
Lidl and aldi imo worst of the lot for fresh fruit/veg.

Lidl veg is dreadful.

Interesting. I often get aubergine, onions, peppers, spinach and salads from them, and never had an issue. Thinking about it the only things I've avoided buying from them are fresh herbs like coriander, and mushrooms. Their mushrooms do look like they're on the turn, and fresh herbs haven't lasted too long in the past. Still, Tesco would lose a lot of my custom if either Lidl or Aldi started deliveries, I'd get most of my canned goods, frozen and booze from them, as well as veg. I'd drop to the occasional order from Tesco for very good offers and branded stuff when needed.
Like I said in my opinion, not everyones as you prove.
Getting back on topic, has anyone seen free next day delivery? My order only shows standard delivery as free.
