Aldi - Marzipan Bars 79p

Found 11th Dec 2012
For all marzipan fans, Aldi have three different types of chocolate covered marzipan bars at the moment. One is plain marzipan, one is rum and raisin marzipan (this one is the best!) and the third is hazelnut praline.

They are decent sized bars (100g) and would be good stocking fillers, or just a treat for marchpane fans! Seems good for less than a quid each.

Sorry I couldn't get it to link to the actual item - can't seem to find the right page on the website, but they should be in store - along with all the other Germanic Christmas treats!

I love Aldi and Lidl at Christmas. Lebkuchen, marzipan bars, stollen... yum.

Must be a good market to get into if Audi are selling these!

Actually I'm thinking of Lidl... I keep getting these shops mixed up... i'm unsure if the marzipan says veggie.

those rings are foul
marzipan bars quite nice though and the mini stollen are really good also

I'm wanting chocolate at moment though the rings are okay from Lidl,I've had better. I was okay till the mention of chocolate marzipan.

had one tonight , they are nice

If anyone has a Home Bargains closer to them I have noticed a couple of stores have got a plain one in for 79p and a slightly smaller bar for 49p which is in like a gold wrapper. I do like these flavoured ones also, in fact as much marzipan as humanely possible is awesome!

oh i love marzipan. will get some bars the next time Im in.

Yes, I can guarantee that none of these marzipan bars eat meat.

I had one on Monday! Delish! Always wonder if I should only eat half a bar though!

Mmmm marzipan

LEBKUCHEN... love the spicy gingery madness

Love these marzipan bars but wish they did smaller ones stopping the temptation to eat the whole big one.

I have to get the heat down on this deal, so cold (only joking).
I wanted to keep this secret, I love them and have been buying them for weeks. I will have to stock up today before they now disappear quickly.
Bought some of the marzipan bars from Home Bargains yesterday and they are not a patch on these from Aldi.
Heat added.

I buy these every christmas, and they are so good, stock up as when they are gone they will not be back until next year.

These sound yummy! Does anyone know the almond content as that is the true value of marzipan?

I don't think I've ever met anyone who actually likes marzipan!

Yum! Can't get enough of the stuff!

chaymation

just a treat for marchpane fans!

Oh man, I love marchpane... thanks OP!

Really? They are crazy about it in my office (not me). In Spain marzipan figurines are apparently a lovely Christmas desert.

Yeah! in some countries they seem mad for it. Not a fan myself but a decent price if you are partial to some so hot from me!

Oh yeah! It's Christmas in a cookie. We're cake compatible

I love the rum and raisin one so much, they taste so warming and Christmassy, I hope Aldi never stops making these
