Can someone clarify this please

I'd hazard a guess at the scroll saw in the photo. Avoid it, you can't get a good scroll saw for £30. Or £29.99.

In fairness, it's half price and looks VERY similar to this:

So would you say £130 buys you a good one for a home gamer?

A bloke I know, who's a time-served carpenter and way beyond my skill levels, swears by Sheppach. He was telling me just the other day how he had something go wrong with one of his tools (can't remember what) for the first time, and rather than him ship the whole thing back, they just sent him a brand new one. I've never used them so can't comment, but this bloke does know what he's doing and all his other tools are good brands.

I know Einhell have a lot of involvement in Aldi tools- how much I'm not sure, but I think it's widely suspected that they make most of them. And Einhell are garbage. I knew this and yet I stupidly bought a bench grinder recently, and it's every bit as bad as I ought to have known it would be. You couldn't give me anything that Einhell are behind now.

You're right though, it looks alarmingly similar. Probably coming out of the same factory, or at least the casing is. The question is are the innards of the Sheppach any better than those of the Workzone? I've just read somewhere that the Lidl scroll saw was "made" by Sheppach, and I've also just found the same thing under another name, so it's starting to look like a generic Chinese re-badge. So even in spite of this blokes recommendations, I think I'd have to see what else there is first.

Shame as it is just a picture and price they should have at least some basic stuff about it, never mind.

All you had to do was ask!

It looks to be the same as these with a different badge on, so that should give you a rough idea at least:

Thanks for the info, I did not realise my original comment left that much room for ambiguity on what was missing from the post.

That is understandable. No worries. Glad there are still nice people in hotukdeals.
It's always good to get precision equipment down at the super with some eggs and butter maybe
I bought this from Aldi at its full price and I'm happy. Ditch the safety shield as you can't see anything while cutting. At 30 quid it's a bargain. And yes it's just a rebadged one screwfix sells for £130 with great reviews.

Inevitably people will pathetically queue up from stupid o clock just to be one of the first to buy something they don't need for a fiver cheaped
