Plenty of time.

Hot - Why did I read the description as Turtle head? must have something else on my mind.

Bought a set of these last time they were on offer - worth every penny, they are the poodle's parts. Mine have save a lot of cursing and grazed hands when working in awkward or restricted spaces

HOT DEAL !

Arent these already on sale - had them in my hand last week.

Good idea for father's day. Will look out for these

Are these sizable for bikes?

lol no 12mm.

In my experience, 10, 13 and 15 are most common sizes. What uses 12mm?

Someone with a 12mm nut

I think the nuts on my bike wheels are 12mm.

good deal, going to grab a set

Great price!

I reckon these are the exact same product as the Halfords, but it'd be nice to see a bigger range.

From what I can tell, all the flexi head ratchet spanners like this seem to be from the same place?

And on all of them, the open end always seems a bit flimsy.

So, for those reasons, the next set I'll be will probably be these:
ebay.co.uk/itm…674
(£33 delivered for 6 double ended flexi head ratchet spanners giving you every size between 8mm and and 19mm.)

gonna get me some....thanks.

Who uses a 12mm? Try every Japanese vehicle you can think of!!!

As for these, as a pro, they would last me just a few weeks before I broke the ratchet in every single one. If you are a decent DIY er, or car enthusiast, don't get these, get halfords. If you are a petrol head, just fork out on Snap on. Yeah they are expensive, but there is a reason for that. Been in the trade 16 years, still have some halfords stuff from my apprentice days in use daily

A few of the bolts on my 90's Alfa also has 12mm bolts aswell, so do Mercedes.

Most cars use 8, 10, 13, 17, 19. Japanese motorcycles (and maybe cars? Don't know) use 8, 10, 12, 14,17. I'd say the lack of a 19 in this set is the biggest problem for most people. But if the sizes work for you, this is a great deal.

Halfords 'lifetime guarantee' a joke, does not cover moving parts. I dropped one of the said spanners after only a week and the ratchet kept slipping. Tried to get replaced but local Halfords would not change for the above reason.

Have you used these?

As above; in my experience they all seem to be the same design from the same factory for this style of ratchet spanner.

Nice cover policy for a car parts shop!

Bought these last time and the quality is excellent, up there with the likes of SP and SnapOn.

Be careful with Halfords Professional range. It WAS very good quality and therefore got a good reputation but recently I've found it to be rubbish, I think they must have changed supplier, initially I thought it was just a bad batch but it seems to be all the spanners and sockets.

The quality issues on the new Halfords socket sets are very noticable, finish is much rougher and more play in wrenches.

Bought them last time. Very soft metal and ratchet end flimsy. Nowhere near as good as Halfords. Price reflects quality.

You'd be nuts not too.(_;)

bought a set today and they are pretty good

Bought these today and they feel and look like the spanners (minus the ratchets) that I have from the Halfords Professional range. Extreme heat

Why is this expired? There were loads in McKendrick Villas Asda yesterday.
