I wanted a slow juicer for years... but they are very expensive

I will bite the bullet with this one if I still find it when I finish work on the 7th. I hope Aldi are good with warranty as 3 years warranty sounds great

Has anyone any experience of this juicer ?
the motor used on this unit is fairly light - 150w - I would need to be convinced this is what is says it is. Perhaps small motors are common for this type of machine, stamdard juicers are often 500 - 800 watts.
Slow juicers are supposed to have small motors - however they should not compromise on quality and torque power.

To give an analogy, slow juicers should work like slow cookers - bring out a fuller taste vs a fast 500w+ juicer.

If you want more healthful flavour slow juicers are good - just make sure to do your research as to its actual quality [vs what is claimed].
Slow juicers... whatever flippin next
High end Hurom Slow Juicers are £300+ this is an amazing deal!

Did you see any black/ gunmetal ones today when you was instore? I didn't but wanted to know it they even existed! Cheers
I grabbed one from Feltham. They only had grey/silver and red. There were none at all at Hounslow. My buddy tried at West Drayton and they were also all sold out.

I got one in light gray silver. The Dark Gray, Gunmetal shade is a lie by the company and will most like be stocked with Lidl done the line. Because Lidl more than likely bet Aldi to contract on better colour choice. I think stocking Five per store is pretty crappy every **** time such a con and a ballache

Your spot on. No Dark version or black I wanted. Company need to hire the help for ordering and distribution. I've been mislead today wild goose chase. "Oh Yeah" Funfact when lidl get it in-stock it will be £5-£10 Cheaper as Usual plus voucher

so... went to the shop at 5pm and of course they were none . Done my shopping, went to the till and behind the till there was a box ! I ask the cashier and she was relunctant to sell it: trying to say they may be more in the shop for me to go back to look. I said there are none and why can't she sell me that one and not very happy she said she can ... So YEAY I GOT ONE !

it's the red one, but beggars can't be choosers
Great deal was going to post this, I paid £100 for mine which is slightly better.

For £40 if I needed one I would buy this.

They are way better than normal juicers, it doesn't actually take long to make the juice, slow juicer mean they grind the fruit and veg against a mesh plate at a slow speed to create less heat which in turn gives you more juice yield. You will find that if upgrading you will get more juice and dryer pulp compared to the fast high speed motors.

For 3 years warranty bargain.

Thanks Tiny I got mine at 3pm one of the last three. Noticed £10 off soup maker was tempted but content with juicer even if I had to go from Ldn rd to portslade. It looks ok rather matt silver once out the box. Lucky us

Lidl will have it for £5-£10 cheaper as you can use there Voucher off to bring the price down on items like these. Obv they will have the best colour selection x
You will all need to purchest a strainer because this juicer has loads of remain pulp. Fun fact the overall cost is extremely large because I made my first juice with two large mango three apples, lime, lemon and two large oranges = extra tiny warm juice. Machine can't crush ice what have I let myself in for. So much cleaning with a tiny return. The juicer isn't noise thankfully I'm trying to love the slow juicer but its too pricey now I've given it a few goes. Anyone considering buying take the added cost into consideration!

Cold thanks for warning
Not impressed with the quality of the jugs — one of them's cracked along the base already!

OK as long as I remember to use that one for the pulp, I guess…

That's no cool at all. This product can't even last a week. It is not Ok call customer service to complain! I will let you know when lidl have this item there then tou can get another before getting a refund at Aldi. Maybe inform customer service to get a percentage deducted for faulty goods. This is a massive let down, I think this juicer is too expensive!

I actually like that the juice is slightly with pulp ... I do not like blender smotthies, but this quite ok. Definetly better than centrifugal juicers.

If only they would invent a self cleaning juicer

God help the product owners in six months time with the built up wear and tear has occurred.

What did you do? Refund or replacement? X

I'm having a blast with my juicer too falling in love. Great buy! Thanks for posting buddy x
I bought this juicer and used it for eight days at least once per day. Today the motor went out with a bang. Will try to get a refund. It was fine while it worked and got me hooked on juicing. Will buy a serious model once my balance permits this.

Regarding an earlier comment about not being able to crush ice, no slow juicer can do this. The aldi juicer is a vertical masticating juicer, very similar in design to the vertical models from hurom or omega. It has the same pros and cons, and purpose, as those. The pulp is not very dry though.

I called the customer services line and left my number on Thursday. No response as yet. I'll give it another go and then return the whole lot to the store if no response. I suspect they won't be able to replace the jug as they'll have sold all the blenders, but we'll see...
Morning Tiny, what a total faff you could do without. I thought I'd let you know Lidl have the nutrition mixer in today, £29.99, with around 30 or more left in-store(Marina) @ 9am. It's identical to the Mr Magic Nutrition mixer. Really nice once Unboxed. Maybe try this looks easier to clean and convenient. Will test it out at lunch time & let you know x

Thanks — I actually bought a Tower Xtreme Pro at B&M for 39.99 at the weekend, just in case I return the juicer. It is a LOT easier to clean, and still pretty quiet.

Think I'd like to keep the juicer for those times when I want something less chewy, but it'll depend on whether I can get a replacement jug. Aldi have suggested emailing the customer service people (as none left in stock for replacing, obviously) but will refund if I can't get anywhere.
