This is an excellent Cornish dairy ice cream - no palm oil or other vegetable fats. Try it and you'll find it's indistinguishable from the much more expensive brand leader Kelly's.

Who knows? They may even make it for Aldi.

Product information

Vanilla flavour dairy ice cream made with Cornish whole milk, double cream and Cornish clotted cream

It tastes nice but I see no deal? This is the usual price, and if we're going down that road, there's about 5000 items that are in Aldi which I can do the same claiming it's a deal with 👌

This is the regular price as they are matching Lidl's product price point. Lidl & Aldi do like to copycat each other alot. The only exception i have seen so far is that they have a stuff crust pizza range wheras Lidl don't

It isn't indistinguishable. This tastes rank. Vile waste of money.

Never tried it, then, obviously. Another embittered Aldi hater?

I like nice food.
I'm a big fan of Aldi's 'rip-offs' generally, but I don't think this is comparable to Kelly's. I love both, and the Aldi version is certainly a very nice ice cream, but it lacks the 'clotted cream' taste of Kelly's.
I might give this one a go at some point. Their regular Vanilla brand, Gianni's, is gash though. Had some last night. Supposedly soft scoop but went rock hard in the freezer and got increasingly nasty to eat as it melted. Obviously the texture changed but it also seemed to become increasingly cloying, sweet and weirdly unnatural as a food.
