This is very good value, especially compared to the other supermarkets. There is also a panettone for £5.99. I saw these in the Anerley branch.

These really are surprisingly good

is this for cleaning the car?

Not sure what this foreign food is, I'll stick to mince pies thank you very much...

Pandoro was also the last meal eaten by the Italian dictator Benito Mussolini before his execution in 1945.

My family's traditional Christmas breakfast. Just a shame I can no longer eat wheat. Thanks OP

Voted cold, don't want to support Fascists.

What actually is it? A sweet bread?

Im Diabetic...Do they do a sugar free version? if not then cold lol

It's a sweet cakey Bread. Quite tasty but I wouldn't trample over people to buy it. Nice to try it at this price if you haven't had it before rather than a tenner in a major supermarket.
You slice it into inch thick pieces and offset them against each other so it looks a bit like a Christmas tree

You already pay your taxes to the Tories, don't you?

It's an Italian Christmas cake...well, a bread if you want to be pedantic ! My grandma always used to buy us one of these when we were children, it's delicious ! And this a great price, other supermarkets are charging a minimum of double this price! I don't suppose anybody has bought one of these and know's if a sachet of icing sugar is included? Bought a miniature one from Tesco the other day for my son to try and there was no icing sugar with it ...that was the best bit as a kid!

same price in Lidl a couple of weeks ago - not sure if still available

Isn't this where the navi come from?

This is just panatoni minus the fruit.

Not sure if serious or trying to be funny.

So is this a deal because I can buy a Aldi specially selected Pandoro from Aldi, Cheaper than I can buy an Aldi specially selected Pandoro from anywhere else, Or can I buy this Aldi specially selected Pandoro from somewhere else other than Aldi.

Confused, You will be.

Or maybe its a deal because its about half the price in Aldi than it is anywhere else. Just a thought.

That's what I'm asking, The same one.
And no real need for the sarcasm.

It's a deal because t's only £3.99 and of very good quality (I have tried t). It is Aldi own brand and therefore available exclusively to Aldi.

That was all I was kind of asking, I wouldn't necessarily find it a deal as such if the cheapest place I could find a box of 250 Sainsbury's Tea Bags, Was Sainsbury's.

Under the deal criteria above, You could have a seperate deal for most of the stuff in Aldi, Especially when you consider that most of the stuff in Aldi is known products under a different name at half the price, From Wine Gums to Pop Corn.

You're only going to find Sainsbury's products at Sainsburys and the same for Aldi. The reason that this is a deal is because, as a Pandoro, it is cheaper than any similar (sainsbury's etc) Pandoro.

The small ones never have the packet of icing suugar, but the normal (larger) sizes always have a small bag of icing sugar inside the box as standard. BTW I love these!

Lidl are doing these for the same price.
