I've been tempted to post this deal a few times, because no-one else has recently. These chips are really good - far better than Tesco Value or Sainsburys Basics. And at 67p per kilo, they're in my opinion the best value around.

They also do bags of potato wedges for 59p, bargain.

It's not a spelling mistake, a lot of muppets say brought when they should say bought, so it's generally ignorance and not a typo. It's very annoying.

Thanks for posting the "deal" OP, anyway

There are so many arrogant bloody idiots on here, who think they know everything. Chill the F*** Out! If you don't like it, don't comment. Let it be use to someone else.

Just be careful about those dark-colour-chips in the bag, bad for health.

"And they also taste great"

Come on! Surely that's just a matter of taste.

We buy these

More expensive at £1 for a kilo but they are really nice. Certainly every bit as good as McCain's version....and much cheaper. Costs almost as much to buy fresh spuds.

PS Just noticed these

£1.79 for 1.5kg so may try those next time. Aldi is rapidly becoming my favourite shop oO. I mean, where else could you possibly put a wood turning lathe and a loaf of bread in the same shopping trolley?

are they oven or for frying

All the Aldi potato products are good, the wedges are fab, loads in a bag for 59p, I also use the frozen roasties as well, really tasty and crisp every time

aunt bessies for me they taste like real chips - so many cardboard varieties of "chip" out there , but havent tried aldis, might give them a try

Cheap as..............erm....Chips

They are always £1 have been since we started shopping there 2 years ago.

Oven, all Aldi chips are oven.

if you look at the packet it states 3 way cook, ie oven, fry and another way I can't remember. I work here and all our chips have always been suitable for different ways of cooking
