When have you checked ? This offer starts today and they might not have the price updated. Also it should scan at 15 pence.
The potatoes are rank boil to nothing better off getting the Morrison’s 3 times 2.5 kg Maris pipers for £1 or 40p a bag

Anyone know if the sell bye date is the 21st, would they be okay for Xmas day if kept in fridge, thanks
Heat for the price.
Suppose they are trying uncut Tesco who have reduced some of theirs to 19p .
I think Asda are the only store not to compete on the prices for Veg this year.

Of course I agree, but I mean I wouldn’t be satisfied with a meal made of just these ingredients, need some meat to go with

Got happy when i saw 15p and a picture of an avocado

All of them will keep for much longer than the sell by date months in most cases. Keep the out of light, somewhere cold (garage/shed are ideal)and remove the plastic and put them in a cardboard box.

It’s called a loss leader. They may lose money but the cheap price will bring people through the door and they will hopefully purchase other items which will offset the loss leader, especially if they are persuaded to do their entire Christmas shop.

It’s veg...it’ll keep until Christmas I’m sure. Sell by/use by dates are a bit silly on veg that hasn’t been tampered with(cut, or washed salad etc).
none in ours shelf's empty
Bargain will go tomorrow

It amazes me that people still throw perfectly good food out because the date has gone. Spuds last weeks after the date, if good quality to begin with.
