Aldi Tribute Ale Bottles £1.25 each

Welcome to my first deal. Tribute is an excellent ale which is produced by St. Austall brewery. This is such a pleasant beer to drink in the summer and costs around £2 at the leading supermarkets. The price comparison website in the link show this to be a great deal. I'm sure to get criticised by someone so I'll include the words drink responsibly. It may not be a special offer but a saving of 75p per bottle is bound to be of benefit to someone.

Scores 48 overall (86 style) at ratebeer.

Congrats on your first post, which is a good deal....but, the leading supermarkets have similar deals on at the moment - Tesco 4 for £6, and even cheaper at Asda: 4 for £5.
It's a good deal, just letting you know in case you weren't aware (and were planing on stocking up

Aldi has been the best for beer all year. Jennings & Banks bitter 99p, and a good selection at £1.25 including Old Peculiar, Black Sheep, etc etc. Not seen the Tribute before, will try that next time I'm stocking up, thanks.

Yeah they have had Bank's bitter for 99p for quite a while now , don't know how Aldi do it
when i popped into Park Brewery in Wolverhampton last year in there shop they wanted £1.70 a bottle
and they make it there .

Might make it there but its probably bottled elsewhere and its the bottling plants that sell on to wholesale n supermarkets.

Thanks for the comments. Has anyone tried the Aldi Rjoja (Baron Amarillo Rioja Reserva)? It's my favourite wine at the moment. It used to be £6.25 now its £5.99.

Sounds good, I'll pop in tonight

This is made down the road from me and its great stuff to have out with the BBQ

This is not the best ale in the world...
...this is just a tribute.
Sorry.

Is actually spelt St. Austell, or as the locals call it, St. Awful.

B&M have some astonishing beer finds at the moment. There's another Cornish ale I picked up from there called Black Pearl from the Woodenhand Brewery for a similar price to this and a few American ones from Shiphead priced at just 79p (all genuine imports, not brewed in Northampton!).

I hate this one from this tho this is cheap! i love their HSD... High Speed Death...its just sooo nice

PS - Aldi if you're reading this, PLEASE stock at least one non-alcoholic beer in your UK stores!

Non alcoholic beer!! Hhhhmmm lovely

Popped in and bought some. Better taste than I imagined

Good stuff! I will have a look in my local.

Where is your local store? I actually work at Aldi but I haven't seen this!

Aldi tend to have the usual old peculier, banks' in most stores but usually also have more local offerings for example when I was on holiday in Cornwall they had skinners Betty Stoggs, helping an honey and Cornish knocker. My local in burton on Trent has a level yips called tower imperial. All these are £1.25, a great buy imo

Oops should have been hiliganhoney

Aldi have a supplier arrangement with Marstons, hence the Marstons owned brands like Banks, Jennings and Wychwood being offered for decent prices.

I've seen Bank's Mild for £1 in the supermarkets and a bit of patience pays off because the big supermarkets frequently do £1 bottle ale deals.
