I'd be quite happy with a Ferrero rocher each day... What were you expecting to fit in them? You winter wardrobe?

Just wanted to make sure everyone knew what to expect. Winter wardrobe would be good, I could have a surprise every day!
Great! Thanks for the heads-up. Heat added.
We had something similar for our child when they were small to avoid tooth rotting chocolate. It was a nightmare finding 24 small gifts that didnt bankrupt us.It's Ok when they are young enough to be happy with a balloon but when they get to be a stroppy teenager they complain if you duplicate items.

Not voting either way, price good for what you get but this is my (mental) health warning.

I got 2 a couple of years ago and one had duplicate numbers! Didn't notice until the little one couldn't find right day! Anyone buying should check this

Also drawers are very small!

Heat Added These Look Great
I think they look really nice, but I'd have to fill it up for myself and that defeats the purpose a little.

The drawers might only be small but even if you are only putting a chocolate in they still look much better than cardboard ones and are reusable.

If you are creative I'm sure there is loads of potential.
Doh, I just bought the kids one each from the Range, I wish I'd waited now!

They are tiny drawers but I'm planning on doing a note for the drawer and wrapping and hiding bits and bobs around the house. I have a tween and a teen and so the Birchbox deal (3 for 1) has been good for this. I just hope they appreciate charcoal deodorant and stuff instead of the usual chocolate santa or whatever (I can almost feel their disappointment on THAT day.)

Surely by the time they were a teenager they were just buying chocolate and other stuff down the shop anyway..?

It can take a reeeaaaaalllllyyyyy long time to arrive as well, so if you want stuff for this I would do it sooner rather than later
I bought the illuminated house and the soldier last year, they were beautiful. Their bags of chocolate snowballs/Brusell sprouts for 59p and the circular boxes of foil covered teddies fit perfectly. Coins are a bit too big.

Will be getting the truck this year for my DIL to fill with little dog/cat treats for patients at her vet practice.

Either order online or get there early on the Thursday as they are popular (especially as last years White House was compared in newspaper reviews to a designer one s selling in Harrods for £35.)

I sent mine in the post to son/DIL and 2 of the drawer fronts had fallen off but nothing that a blob of glue couldn't sort out.

Honestly I’m really not sure only got stuff a couple of times and didn’t bother again. Better off looking at amazon add one and £1 shops maybe

I'm not sure what the kids would say on the 1st Dec if they found a Brussels Sprout.

I would look on this Sunday, 28th October.

I made the mistake of trying to order the cast iron grill pans on the Monday after they were online on the Sunday and they had sold out (I blame The Times for giving them a good review!).

Doesnt mean they give up their advent calendar, they still expect 24 gifts. However once they got to 16 it went back to being a chocolate calendar since they werent sufficiently grateful for the gifts they had the previous year. They were very lucky not to just get coal that year....
thanks
This is now live to order on ALDI website and app

I did this last year, got my son 25 Star Wars mini figures from Ali Express. To be honest you cannot tell the difference from the real lego figures which we have plenty of. They came within 3 weeks and ordered off sellers with feedback

Thanks that sounds great! Does the Lego have a smell or residue? This worried me when I heard it onthis site before about Ali express Lego? If you know the seller feel free to share! Thanks
The Aldi in Bromsgrove near Morrison’s had some of the elf ones and about 5 of the trucks left when I was there today. That was just before they shut so they should be there tomorrow.
