Who's going to buy it? It's well over the top for home use.

Nah, course it's not... plenty of uses and not be constrained by a power socket is a big plus.

Have some heat, brilliant, think the problem will be finding an Aldi with stock.
At last a pressure washer at a sensible price with some power.
Well found.

Suction pump might be useful if there is flooding again this year

Not at all, I have a much more powerful Honda Petrol pressure washer at home, with an interpump reduction gearbox and interpump pump.

Fantastic bit of kit.

Based on my experience of two failed Karcher's, you should consider it in case you too become a victim of their cheap plastic components!

All the Karchers I have had over the years (not even a case of things are not made like they used to, the were pants years ago) split on the pump and leaked.

I know a bodyshop who had a pro diesel karcher thing, was being fixed and serviced every 5 minutes, he got rid of it.

I gave up with Karcher in the end and paid out for a Stihl one, the build quality is in a different league. Heat added for this deal though, great price for a petrol machine (and it has a 3 year warranty).

Karcher power washers made these days are garbage though - shame as their older ones were ok - having said that this is cheap for a petrol power washer which is good as cheap and maybe not the best bad quality

true though it is cheap - but I suspect its nosiy - for most people a cheap karcher or nilfisk will do or if you want something decent get a kranzle they are awesome

yep karchers last for 50 hours constant use, even their £500 ones. Anyone who buys a £500 one is stupid as thats the same as the bottom of the range Kranzle that are designed to last 1000s of hours and unlike kranzles and niflisks they can run for hours constant use - and you can replace every part in it

Should have got a Kranzle. you notice the difference in build quality even from the tough thick plastic casing and hose reel, not the cheap flimsy stuff in karchers and nilfisks. Let alone the performance of it. the weight is something else. I have t1152 and its a bit smaller than the karcher k7 is about 20kg, but despite being a bit smaller the kranzle is 32kg. The karcher k7 feels like a kids toy in comparison

yeh Honda make great engines, from lawn mowers, cars, etc. think kranzle petrol washers use Honda engines too

Agreed, two failed Karchers I bought and two others I was given, all failed, all kept frost free. Better off buying something designed to last than something designed to last 13 months. Will take a look at there when they appear.

250 Bar High Pressure! - I think my old banger would fall apart lolz

Sounds like you are a man who likes a pump.....

You still need to be by a hose/water supply. And usually there is power if you are near a house. I am struggling to see why this would be necessary ...

Little bit overkill I think...

I think people dont quite have the grasp of this site. You are obviously not interested in this product. Its cheap and its a hot deal for those that want one. Would you reply to a deal on Tampax maxi and say its a bit overkill.

No filter included if you want to take the water from a bucket or water butt. Got a karcher and had it a few years with no problems. Was thinking about getting this, still undecided.

Wouldn't be too much hassle to fit an in line filter, I'm definitely getting one. Hot!

Overkill for your needs by the the sounds of it if you can't see where this would be beneficial.

Van with large IBC or water butt coupled with this could be someone's livliehood - mobile valeter. driveway cleaning, roofs cleaned, wheelie bins cleaned.

Some offering these services have to undertake these jobs whilst the property is unoccupied - I.e. your at work, meaning electrical supply and/or water isn't available.

It's a very good product at a very good price.

Yes I understand that. But Aldi is a consumer store, it isn't for specialist equipment. They are trying to sell these to Mum and Dad doing the weekly shop.

I doubt very much that Aldi have sourced these and are selling these in store on the off chance that someone will pick one up on a shopping trip.
£10 drills and such like yes, 'dad' will pick one up in passing, or 'mum' will pick one up as dad needs one etc etc.

Whichever way you look at it, whether they should be selling them or not, it's still a very good product at a very good price.

At only £200 I'll be in the queue on thursday morning.

Called at my local Aldi last night and they said there was 8 machines going out this morning for sale, I got there at 8.05am and they had 2 left!

I got there at 8am and was out the shop by 8:04.

8:35 Aldi Hexham... I nabbed the last one.

My god it's heavy!

Set mine up this morning, superb bit of kit, very powerful indeed! It nearly blew the doors off my 12yr van!

Does anyone know where you can get the hose and suction filter from?

Depending on the fittings used you might be able to get them on ebay, have a look at a seller called Q Washers on ebay

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/qwashers

They might have the bits needed.

Great power off this unit and good choice of pressure heads however the pressure hose is not heat resistant. Two days after buying the washer I was jetting the patio and the hose glanced the edge of the engine and immediately burnt through, water everywhere. Now I've got to try and get a replacement from somewhere as the shop can't provide one.

You're probably better off with a decent single wire hose anyway. Try your local pneumatics shop, they will be able to make you one up. Get it a bit longer than what came with the power washer so you don't have to keep moving the power washer about when cleaning.

I'm not sure if it will be the same or fit but LIDL and Aldi do sometimes sell high pressure pipes. Other than that call the support line, I'm sure they do spare parts.

Fantastic, nothing else out there in the price range for the performance it gives. Can't find a fault in it.
