Bought one at the end of October for £295 by making a best offer on eBay and using the 10% off code but it seems this is the cheapest it's been on Amazon.

Yet to set it up as it's for my daughter's birthday early next year but the one she tried in the shop seemed a decent bit of kit.

Amazon page has a long-listing with useful information and descriptors on it.

4 - Mesh & 1 Rubber pad
8" Snare Pad
3 Cymbals
385 sounds
60 play along tracks
Drumsticks
Aux input and USB MIDI

Is this a good kit ? What’s the RRP ?
I bought the Alesis DM6 in 2010 for (I think) £360. Still going strong today and I love it. Always wanted one with mesh skins.
This work with Rock Band 4?

Seemed to be around £350, a local store had it in for £330 which was matched online but I then used the eBay discount at the time to get a little more off. Possibly quite appealing to get it from Amazon instead, I'm a little concerned ours is going to stay unopened for a few months so may do a risky setup when the kids aren't in the house (I'm absolutely dying to have a go myself)
Oh God, I REALLY, REALLY want one!
I mean, the kids will LOVE this!
Not that I've got any.

Little known fact - Boris Johnson is an INCREDIBLE drummer. Hence all the illegitimate children.
My son got this for Christmas last year, great bit of kit and this is a really good price

I bought this back in February, I sold a Roland TD4-KP which I had in our previous, smaller house. The mesh pads on this are great. If I’m being picky, the module could be better in terms of detailing sounds when you are creating or modifying kits but google helps with that. For this price it’s a fanatic piece of kit

Yes, if you have the correct adapters. For PS4 you'll just need a PS3 Midi Pro Adaptor; for XBox One you'll need the X360 Midi Pro Adapter and the ridiculously scarce PDP Wired Legacy Adapter. Midi Pros can be had for around £40 (or you might already have one if you played "pro" instruments on Rock Band 3); the Wired Legacy Adapter routinely goes for £500+ on ebay

Just done some reading up on the parts you've mentioned, I had no idea half of that was possible.

Had the plastic guitars/drum kits etc. back in the days of the PS2/PS3 but other than buying Rocksmith/2014 and never playing either to any great extent due to lag, I hadn't gone back to the console music stuff. Seems like it would be really good fun using this with the games.

Yep, can confirm it definitely is Rock Band 3 on 360 is probably the pinnacle - lessons, custom songs and component output to minimise lag
