Ok? Seems like a huge market in technological conveniences. This 'smart home' concept will never catch on.....

Are these led lights good around the tv ? What does it add for a tv experience
Can u sync it with the tvs colors?

What's this got to do with a led strip? Technology is good, you can set up this light on when you're away, so people will think you're home, this is one of so many advantages.
Why do we want lights behind tv? Does it help with the picture?

And perceived contrast improvements. Back light bias is a thing.

Yeah good find but it isnt the Alexa controlled ones but a good deal none the less, I actually ordered them and realised the mistake.

It can be cut yes but you can buy shorter ones cheaper rather than cutting and wasting the rest.

None of the LED strips I've had (3 different sets) have stay stuck to a TV or computer monitor. I got some double sided gel tape suitable for high temps and found it really good. It barely makes contact on my tv as the back has a wwwwww style design so tape only touches the tip inbetween the dips/waves and strips have stayed on that fine.

Tape I purchased is no longer for but for reference so you or others know what to look for
amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1

Oh wasn't the cheapest tape and peeling the red backing of is fiddly but it was worth the money. I have 4 strips on the underside of my desk, 1 either side and 2 along the back, that the tape has hold without fail for 2+ years.
Thank you. My daughter has asked for these for Christmas. Must be the ‘in thing’ at the moment

Excellent, thanks. Gives me an idea of what to look for if the included pads un-stick, which they most probably will..

Rather have that than ruin perfect black levels. Might benefit if you have cheapo TVs.

You'd rather experience reduced eye health, than have negligible PQ impact from bias lighting? Errr, OK!

Since you made the statement how do you know I would? Of course you must have many links to clinical studies on bias lighting being so knowledgeable about this, of course you do

Not with this, but if you buy a Philips hue sync box (a lot more expensive) then it’s possible. Many reviews on YouTube.
Will purchase when the Dreamcolour set is on offer

Technology has moved on, but basic physics has not.
