I’ve done the math and you’re spot on there, where’s Big shaq
Got this (for free, also) a while back as a guided reference for my younger brother (11, when he was about halfway through year 7), but read it myself prior to make sure it was suitable.

Personally, I felt it did a great job of laying out the foundations of algebra and had a fair amount of examples for the reader to work through on their own. It was good enough for what I wanted it for but I think it works much better, instead, as a refresher or as revision material for people already have a little bit of experience with algebra and feel comfortable with the notation, since it can be quite easy to get overwhelmed by the initial complexity of some of the examples.
