Jeezus....40 years...where did that go!
Like the grimy Alien aesthetic? The lived in world feel. The bleak, stark cosmic horror. The subtleness of the beast itself

Here, HAVE A PURPLE PSYCHEDELIC SWIRLY MARBLE ALIEN WOOOOOO

Heat for the price, Heat for the movie, Sub-Arctic Cold winds for whatever that cover is

Damn it, thought this was the 4K version
This standardised Hi-Def version is only worth the cash if you have not got/want the other films, the Alien Anthology boxset is only 99 pence more on Amazon....personally thought the sequel Aliens was great at the time (as a kid) and is a lot of peoples favourite but really am not much of a fan of James Cameron's overblown 80s cheese; it is a rollercoaster ride in it. Alien 3 is underrated in my opinion, especially the extended cut adds more, and I think most agree that Alien Resurrection is a pile of.......

Heated.
I guess a lot of fans are aware of this but IGN produced a series of short films for YouTube to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Alien:

Someone should tell the Alien in the picture its zipper is open...

6 film Alien Collection is available on iTunes for £9.99 including Alien, Prometheus and Alien Covenant in 4K.
Other than the change of Picture to depict 40 years on the DVD, it is the same DVD they churn out every year.... and you suckers fall for it every time.

Are you going to buy and enjoy it any more because its 40 years old? Gullible

Thanks, I didn't know about these!! Some of the audio productions are well worth a listen too, although the one that is basically Aliens from Newt's point of view was massively disappointing.

...gold. All 4 Ripley movies have become classics - who can forget Wynona Ryder's part or Perlman's Hellboy in 4th instalment?

Alien 3 underrated too. Hope Fincher's later work helps to rescue it
