Brilliant game, one that a mate recommended and I smashed it until platinum, paid for the dlc to reward the devs too
It's as cheap as it's ever been and it's one of the best co-op shooters about. Heat from me.

Does this do split screen?

?? You play on the one screen. It’s not a first person shooter.
I liked the look of this when it was first released but felt it was a tad overpriced (particularly because I rarely get around to actually play games) so I'll probably pick it up now its cheap but I think it'll be on PS+ imminently.

I believe it has been , as it's in my library and I didn't buy it .
Personaly I didn't like it much , mostly because all the mobs scale to your lvl so you always feel weak and underpowered which is good at first but I think with a game that's quite heavily about lvls and loot always feeling underpower isn't much fun

Yeah it was on PS+ way back in 2017.

Excellent game! Was addicted to the reward system in this for weeks, recommend saving the DLC weapons for when you just wanna be OP and easily win everything.

One of the few decent couch co-op games for modern games consoles.
Nice RPG elements to it as well as the shooting.

They've never offered a game on PS+ twice, so I would doubt it
Great game, one of my very very few platinums

They haven’t doesn’t mean they won’t.

But I agree it will no doubt never be on again

I didn't realise it had been on before tbh, I must have missed it when my PS+ lapsed for a while.
Me and a buddy got this to play together but if anyone wants to join us for some 3 or even 4 player co-op, the more the merrier?

Me and him played the first one, think it was called Dead Nation and loved the co-op aspect of it so we've been waiting patiently for this to drop to this price again.

We're likely gonna play in a week or two but my GT is M3phestic - if anyone wants to join us, drop your tag below and I'll add ya

Dead nation to me was better for couch co-op (and I've played that campaign loads), much less of a learning curve. Once you're in the swing of Alienation it's great, but explaining the quick reload, abilities, loots, salvaging, core upgrades and rerolling, oof.
Is this like Dead Nation? Liked that game but got repetitive quick :/

I respectfully disagree. This is better than Dead Nation for couch co-op because it has way more RPG elements, i.e 3 classes of Mech-soldier, you carry 3 types of weapons, all of which are highly upgradeable, as well as a skill tree to unlock depending on your style of play. There are also several variants of enemies where as in DN there weren't as many. It has slightly upgraded graphics compared to Dead Nation as well. Overall I played both campaigns to completion in co-op, and enjoyed both, but AN was more fun and satisfying.

For longer term play I agree, I was talking about random people coming over and picking up a game quickly.
