- i7-7700HQ processor
- 16GB RAM
- 256GB M.2 SSD
- GeForce GTX 1060 graphics with 6GB GDDR5
- Win 10 Home 64-bit
- 1 year premium on-site support

Review: Compact gaming miracle
"Overall, the Alienware 13 R3 is not only one of the best 13-inch systems on the market, but also one of the best gaming notebooks in general. There are hardly any real problems and points of criticism, so it is by far the best device in our mobile Top 10 ranking. Even the rating of the high-quality Razer Blade is a few points lower."

It's not "cheap" by any means, but it's over £300 cheaper than usual so from that POV, it's a deal...

  • Use code "ESLUK" to take the base price from £1,849 down to £1,627.12

I agree. However:
A) With the discounts, it's over £300 cheaper than usual
B) The review concludes: "Overall, the Alienware 13 R3 is not only one of the best 13-inch systems on the market, but also one of the best gaming notebooks in general. There are hardly any real problems and points of criticism, so it is by far the best device in our mobile Top 10 ranking. Even the rating of the high-quality Razer Blade is a few points lower" - given that warm praise, I thought it was worth at least a mention.

I would vote hot if the gpu was 1070...

I would love one of these but it's about twice my budget.

1 year warranty? Ffs really dropping that kind of money they ought to throw in a 3 year warranty as standard

At least a 1080 needed at that price.

Who do they think they are?? Apple??

Nice, but looking for a 1070 for that price range imo

Exactly. I really want an Alienware laptop but for the price, a one year warranty is a complete joke.

Must be gold plated too, right?

It'a an amazing little machine, and the OLED panel ruins all others laptop screens for you, once you see it.

It's worth picking one up from the outlet, though. They pop up regularly for about £1200.

You can get one, just not in a 13" form factor.

Yeah would be stepping up to 15". Suppose depends on how important portability is for people!

I think there are codes released regularly that discount the price down to 1450 or thereabouts.

I don't know how their warranty work but when I bought my laptop from Currys/ ebay I had my warranty extended to 15 months.
