Looking for an 8th gen, 1060 with an SSD with 16GB a RAM.

This is also a 120hz G-Sync model as well, so it ticks all the boxes for what I'm looking for.

£1500 for a 1060?

Prepare for Arctic conditions
Don’t do it lol
Lol, who is going to think this is a good price?
I've seen plenty of 1060 laptops under £1k and even if you wanted to kick the RAM up to 32GB, the NVMe to 1TB and the HDD to a 2TB SSD, you'd STILL be spending less money than this Alienware price.
Might be a rubbish price, but all the alternatives being posted were miss prices, and cancelled.
Ouch cold
What about this:

Yes, it’s 8GB short of your ram spec but that’s neither difficult nor expensive to upgrade.

If your willing to drop G-Sync then you can get the same or better spec for cheaper. Although G-Sync is nice I would take the better hardware so the system will last you longer before needing to upgrade again (especially at this price point).

Same spec (with a 128GB SSD though) for £499 cheaper

Get a GTX 1070 with 120hz screen for £150 cheaper, plus you get a few free games too

Or even a RTX 2060 (don't know if the 2060 or 1070 is better haven't looked much into this chip) for £250 cheaper.

I'd be quite willing to argue that G-sync on a laptop is quite unimportant, I mean it's not like they have the battery life to game on the move so how many people actually game on such a small screen? A lot of owners connect to a decent sized external monitor or even a TV to game on.
I posted a deal much higher than this for the same cash. the new 9th gen i7, full rtx2070 16gb 2666mhz, 512 ssd, mech keyboard hotukdeals.com/dea…432
