INFINITELY IMMERSIVE
Quantum Dot Display Technology enables a slim panel design and delivers a superior color performance with a higher peak luminance and greater color gamut range vs WOLED (White OLED). The monitor features an extensive cinema-grade color coverage of 99.3% DCI-P3 across a wide viewing angle, and colors are accurate out of the box with a factory calibration of Delta E less than 2.

Combined with 1000 nits peak brightness, infinite contrast ratio and VESA Display HDR True Black 400 certification, you can expect incredibly realistic visuals for unforgettably immersive gaming experiences.

STUTTER-FREE SPEED
Experience ultra-low latency gameplay, support for HDR and cinematic color, plus smooth, tear-free gaming thanks to NVIDIA® G-SYNC® ULTIMATE certification.
Additionally, with the industry’s fastest 0.1 ms GtG (Gray to Gray) response time and up 175 Hz (native) high refresh rate, you’ll experience smoother gameplay and view fast-moving graphics with incredible clarity for a faster in-game reaction time.

IMPECCABLE DESIGN
The jaw-dropping new design features a sleek QD-OLED curved 1800R panel integrated into the iconic new Legend 2.0 ID, plus customizable stadium loop OLED AlienFX lighting, 360° ventilation for better heat dissipation, improved cable management and a new centralized OSD joystick to make adjusting your settings easier.

FOR CRITICAL CREATING
For content creators and game developers who require precise color-critical work, the new Creator Mode feature was designed for you. This OSD menu option allows you the flexibility to choose between the native (DCI-P3) and the sRGB color space, depending on your work needs, and the ability to adjust the gamma settings.

QUALITY ASSURANCE GUARANTEED
The Alienware 34 Curved QD-OLED Gaming Monitor is engineered to avoid burn-in caused by items appearing onscreen for long periods of time. Additionally, you'll receive a 3-year service coverage, further protecting you from OLED burn-in and ensuring peace-of-mind quality assurance. Mine came with loads of blemishes to the anti-glare coating across the top of the screen, almost looks like grease/dirt marks but you cannot remove them with cleaning as it's the layer itself. Box was pretty bad so I think they may have sent a refurb/return. Beware, it's been a nightmare trying to get them to replace it and still waiting on their decision after sending lots of photos of the damage. Manufacture date was August 2022 on back.

The actual picture is lovely though. You can hear the fan if you're sat within 1m of the monitor.
    Good luck if you ordered!

For anyone interested there is a new model, the AW3423DWF, coming out later this year that has FreeSync instead of G-Sync as well as a slightly lower refresh rate (165 vs 175).
It's meant to be 200 USD less than the current model, not sure how that will work out in GBP for us.
    Latterman's avatar
I'm guessing it will be either £899 or £999 depending on how the pound does. It also has 2no display ports and 1no HDMI, whereas this has 2no HDMI and 1no DP. Cheaper model also loses rear lighting and is slightly thinner over all.

Both models will do well! (edited)

I want this so bad. But I also use mine for office use so I don't want to chance burn in. If it was totally burn in free maybe...

I love OLED displays so much.

Same here, 8 hours a day off office use made me stay with aw3821dw instead. (edited)

I have this, but it took 4 units and 3 replacements for me to get one without dead pixels. Maybe the latest units are better though

wow thats really bad luck never heard of this.there's 276 forum pages dedicated to owners of this monitor here with no such issue reported:

Got this last time with the Amex offer and a discount code. The picture is so good on it, I had zero issues with burn in and it was 80/20 used for office. However fan noise made me sell it as it was just too much on my unit, I’ll maybe get another if it gets an option to adjust it. Was using a 3060ti so could be related to that.
    redholt's avatar
Yeah my monitor was running on high brightness to be fair, and my pc is silent otherwise (plus it’s under the desk so was deadened a bit). I may be susceptible to the noise more than others as well so it’s always worth trying and if it’s too loud then send it back. I’m on a SW34dwg now which is great tbf but if a quiet version of the OLED drops I’m gonna be all over it as this is an otherwise perfect monitor.
  8. drumjungler's avatar
Anyone with NHS discounts can use their voucher on the site which brings the price down to £934. I used it with the amex offer and that knocked another 100 off. Lastly I went through a cashback site and it has tracked for another 100 off but I doubt that will payout - epic if it does though

for £1000, it better be gold encrusted, do your taxes, make love to your wife and walk the dog.

Better getting a 42 inch OLED for this price range.

I'd much rather this tbh. Been using a curved ultrawide for years and wouldn't go back to a normal screen now.

Bought the cooler master ultrawide last week and having an absolute blast with it. Obviously it isn’t on the level of this, but for the £360 I paid, it’s really really good.
    Ultrawide gaming is really awesome

Does not sound like a deal. You can get 34 ultra wide res IPS screen for 300 or there abouts. Having oled on the pc monitor is not a great idea due to burn in, this is a pc monitor it is not used just for gaming. But even if you wanted an oled why not get an oled tv much larger for the same money.
    Loafus's avatar
It's significantly below the typical price... also comparing it to a different (significantly more mature and less performant) technology really doesn't make sense. It's an enthusiast product with many specifications which can't really be topped by anything else currrently on the market. Of course it has drawbacks... but I've had both and they really aren't comparable.

Also, you can't get an OLED television in this form factor. This also uses a superior panel technology in terms of colour rendering and uniformity versus any TVs that would be below the price point of this monitor.

If it isn't for you, that's fair enough - but to say it isn't a deal because it isn't a purchase you can justify isn't really a fair assessment

Best monitor I've ever owned. And QD-OLED is an improvement on OLED so even better that what some of you might expect.

Oh Dear...I have a Predator X34 had it for about 5 years and I'm very tempted to buy this. Is it worth doing? Decisions

    I personally own this monitor

No regrets at all and if you want to have a proper HDR experience on PC this is the cheapest option around.

The text fringing issues are there but unless you're right up against the screen you can't notice them.

On my monitor I can't hear the fan and I had zero dead pixels.

Don't forget to get this with 5.95% TCB
Also was able to get student discount to work when I bought mine.
    Flying_Orange's avatar
I 2nd that. HDR on this monitor is pretty like a picture.
  22. dlau74's avatar
Incredible monitor, got mine for £682 with all the discounts and cashbacks, had some reflections and a bit of fan noise. Been lucky with the panel, just a shame there are no firmware updates you can do.
After going through lots of monitors can't go back from an uw, have managed to squeeze 2 of them on my table at an angle
    Jawz's avatar
You have these in one sweep around or like a letter m?
  23. SammyNib's avatar
Why do you do this to me... Argh... Purchased!
    Muhammed_Vali's avatar
hey i also ordered one and haven't received it yet, have you?
  24. Skyler85's avatar
Love this. But not long purchased a Samsung odyssey G9 (edited)
  25. Jawz's avatar
My friend has this monitor. It looked great for web browsing. The curve in fps bends in your view and looks like things passing you as they would in real life.
However, I'm not sure if im totally sold. I feel like I would prefer a little more height on the screen.

I'm considering getting the LG 42 C2 and having it a bit further back. The WS seems situational for maybe comparing documents or some games. I think I prefer the 16:9 Ratio and that may be my next move.
    RobBraz's avatar
I use a number of apps and games with two clients/instances side by side. I imagine this could be better than side-by side 27"s
  26. Chippy8's avatar
I have side by side Alienware aw2721d's but very tempted by this.
  27. Skelly2345's avatar
does the 3 year warranty include screen burn?
    LaurenceGough's avatar
It does say in the desc but after 3 years on your own I guess...
  28. davevtec's avatar
I really like this monitor, but fun noise putting me of from buying it. Waiting for samusng QD-OLED monitor
    Minstadave's avatar
Fan noise is highly variable. Mine is almost inaudible.
  29. resoled's avatar
Despise that they don't let you add a discount code ontop of this!
They had a 15% student code a couple weeks back which was a bigger discount, now only 5% and it won't stack. (edited)
    Scott_TurnerR6v's avatar
I'm going to wait for Black Friday.
  30. bcham's avatar
i can not hear the fan on mine. but i use an AMD card, think its nvidia cards using the gsync that causes it to spin up.
    hicks12's avatar
The fan is always on, it will spin more in HDR it's not depending on gsync.

I've had 2 and the first one had a loud fan but the second one I barely can tell unless I'm right on it haha.
  31. deleted2810965's avatar
It's an stunning monitor and easily the best out there for gaming on PC.
but keep in mind a new cheaper version is announced (exact same panel and same monitor without g-sync (instead has free sync) and with one less HDMI port) for $200 less.
    Minstadave's avatar
Should have one less fan too.
  32. wily_feder's avatar
Promo code's are not stacking I have the Employee perk of 15%, when i add removing the basic discount sad

There's 100£ cashback on Amex - Spend 750£ or more, get 100£ back. Should bring the price down further 888.99.
    Toothy1911's avatar
Is this only on Business Amex cards? I only see two promos on Dell's site one for Business Platinum and one for Business Gold.
  34. akhan_29's avatar
There is a newer model coming soon that will be slightly cheaper and may have hdmi 2.1

    engadget.com/ali…r=1
    Flying_Orange's avatar
It is not a newer model. It is new, different model for people who prefer AMD. The other model wont have gsync ultimate and will have different design to reduce the price. I would still get this one.
  35. matt139's avatar
Good price but be aware a cheaper variant is coming out soon and there are reports of burn in already.
    Loafus's avatar
Have a link to the reports? Very curious - I've had mine for a while and haven't dealt with retention of any kind yet, but would really like to know how likely it is to crop up based on use-case. I considered it a calculated risk with their warranty covering burn-in, but would be nice to know how often I could expect to have to exchange it if ever.
  36. Sanjzilla's avatar
Wish it had hdmi 2.1 ... for some casual console play.. i reckon next years model will have it
    Flying_Orange's avatar
I dont understand hdmi argumemt. PC masters prefer advantage of DP over hdmi and it is not like consoles support UW format anyway.
  37. deleted1945554's avatar
    But it's curved.
  38. FOMister's avatar
Once this hits £700's I'll bust a nut, stick with aw2721d until then, can u dig it.
    Flying_Orange's avatar
I think I do. Stay strong or talk to sell rep, he might help you bro, he helped me and I grabbed this baby for 850 few months ago, you feel me?
