Just found this and was shocked to see the price. I bought it when it was released a few weeks ago at the regular price. It's a fantastic album which I'm sure many would love as an extra christmas present. It includes the 2 singles "One More Time" and the new one "A Guy Like You". I cant recommend the album highly enough... it's one of her best... in my opinion even better than "Alf".

Yes... usually to boost sales:roll: I think it's to do with the single being released on Monday... to encourage people to buy the album too.

I thought this place was for posting bargains.... to me it is a bargain, I paid a few pounds more a few weeks ago. Why would people vote this cold, just as it's not to their taste?:?

Just noticed it's actually part of the 12 days of Christmas Deal that Amazon are running.

There are 36 big albums included in the offer.... Eric Clapton "Complete Clapton" £6.99 Kate Nash "Made of Bricks" £5.99 The Eagles "Long Road out of Eden" £6.99 Stereophonics "Pull the Pin" £6.99 Westlife "Back Home" £7.99 "Michael Buble "Call me Irresponsible" £7.49 James Blunt "All the Lost Souls" £7.49 to name a few.

I'd still rate Alison Moyet's album above the others, but going by the "cold" rating this thread got, not many share my view on this site.:?

Voted Hot, great price. Loved Hometime and will shortly purchase this.

I'm glad to see there's at least one person thought it was a good deal;-)

Hometime was another great album, but The Turn has more outstanding songs on it than any other Alison Moyet album, in my opinion.

In fact it's the first album I've listened to in a long time where I'm not reaching for the skip button... even the 1 or 2 songs I'm not overly keen on I'm quite happy to listen to.
