Nevermind that. I just wondering what does it look like in the morning.
Can anyone vouch for this as "breakfast"? Sounds a little frightening!

I've had this before, and the London Grill and it all tastes like a tin of beans and sausage. You know, the beans aren't the same, the sausages aren't like anything you'd actually buy. The mushroom is also a bit funny, but the star of the show.

Some kids had brought them in for harvest festival and curiousity got the better of me. I took a bullet for a tramp that day, my friends.
Add some black pudding and chips deep fried in beef dripping and you've got the perfect meal.

And for dessert a battered deep fried Mars bar
If you ate that after a hangover then you would be faced with a pavement pizza
Laughs at all the culinary snobs....I take it you critics all eat wisely 24/7??? hahaha
Be curious to know the salt content of this bad boy tin!
There are 3 things you have to draw the line at eating, one is this stuff above, spam and corned beef. lol

Aaaahhhhhhhhh, Heaven in a tin.
Men's Health magazine actually recommended these! Can't remember exactly what they said, but it certinaly didn't come across as bad as you might initially think.

I love these tins, you're more likely to get a heart attack from an actual fresh breakfast than one of these tins too. I'm sure you guys eat much worse stuff in your diets.

And 2 for £2 seems decent to me!

Canned Tramp Vomit

Sounded great - then I read the label contents - no diced carrot.
So it's obviously some 'made in china' artificial tramp vomit substitute.

I'll give it a miss - and keep waiting for the Real Thing

OK, I've bought a couple, and I'll try one later ... if you don't hear from me, call my nearest ICU for a progress report.

I drink AND smoke, so I should be able to cope with anything ASDA can throw at me ....

I love how technically we should be voting based on the actual deal instead of the product yet its -147 and a not bad deal. Yeah bit crazy sounding but c'mon I bet some of the stuff us lot have had from a take aways are much worse and great comment from Magister:

Wanna bet?
My ex works for them and if you're be the only guy she hasn't thrown herself at, head for Barrow inFurness..
How can you tell what basis folk are voting on? Is there an app for that?

Well, Nigella is tied up, so here's my review:

The beans are are a 33p can of own brand; the mushroom is like cardboard (canned always are), the sausages are pale grey, like the cheapest you'll ever see. The egg is secreted neatly inside meatballs (cunning, huh?), thus preserving the colour and protein, if not the full flavour of home-cooked scrambled egg.

All in all, not a disaster, though your posh friends would shriek in disapproval, and probably good value at £1. Gets a bit shaky at full price.

Though the meal reminded me of the kind of stuff you buy at street corners, you have the reassurance of the can - no bugs*

*except, theoretically, botulinum

That would be interesting - but I'm way down south, so probably out of range.
