I looked at 5 pairs and there's hardly any sizes left,ok if you're overweight or stick thin you might find a pair:w00t:

Since when was Levi's designer denim? And what then is non-designer denim?:?:

Levis have always been designer denim, since they've always been more expensive than other generic brands.

Though clearly they're not as expensive as other brands, such as Versace, Armani or even G*, Diesel etc.

Or are you just trying to say that you consider them your baseline regular fayre?

Call me old fashioned but something that is 'designer' means that is has been designed by a named designer. I guess by that then the early ones were designed by Mr Strauss himself but since they went mass production that description is long gone. Yeah I'd say Levi's are baseline - that's why I like them: they set the standard along with Wrangler and Lee. G Star and Diesel are just brands so to call them designer is pretty far fetched - even Versace and Armani jeans are mass produced with little to do with the people who design their designer collections.
