Ok so some may already do this but we recently got a puppy and our breeder told us this ... buy nappy sacks instead of dog poop bags.

They're identical, except you can get 300 nappy sacks for 35p or pay £1 for 50 doggy poop bags.

Hope this helps someone!

Look how happy is he with his bargain poop bags!

if you want fingers like marmite, go ahead and try these
Are they thick/strong enough to cope ? I can survive without a “finger of fudge” experience !

Yeah my thoughts too, how do these nappy bags compare to proper dog poop bags....

Cutest doggos!!
Great for the kids sarnies for school too
I double the nappy bags up. Most councils give poo bags free too (well in Scotland anyway )
At this time of year you can use them as handwarmers

And that must be non dog owners up there.
I use the Scot-Petshop ones off Amazon. A couple of pence each, but the difference between them and nappy bags is like night and day. Two pence is worth my while compared to time spent with a nailbrush thank you very much.
What's the usual price of these bags? Is it asda roll back?
Anything to save a couple pennies
Even getting dog poop on your hands

Worth it, heat added

Thanks to all of you dog owners who use bags!, maybe you could have a word with people around my way who allow their dogs to poo on the street outside my house . I had a dog and always used them without fail...no excuse. And yes nappy bags do the trick...

Man up Folks they may be thinner but they dnt break. They still take good force to rip them.Much cheaper. I use tesco value ones
Nappy sacks are much thinner and smaller than the dog poo bags I use plus I'd rather not be able to see the contents of the bag. I get a 100 pack for £1 from local pet shop and that lasts quite a while.

Its just not worth the saving of a few pence to use nappy sacks instead.

We get these from B&M and as you can
see he loves them. We did the whole cheap nappy bags thing but ended up using 2/3 when he went.
Amazon sell biodegradable nappy bags you can use for pets
I have used These for years all good.

Is it it just me who enjoys this time of year picking up the frozen logs of the lawn?
Unvented bread (loaf) bag beats them all, sh*t contained, no mess, ties easy! And as they're so long one will last the whole week! rest my case. bye.

Not crazy about those nappy bags...some in the pack were no good, with the handle cut at the wrong place so not really usable...so we tend to buy the 150 pack for £1 in Poundland
these sound waffa thin... wouldn't want sticky fingers would you...

This reminded me of something i saw in b&m that freezes the dog poo to aid picking it up.... not sure id try it though...
Dog bags are free here (paid from council tax I imagine) in an effort to encourage people not to leave mess on the pavements and public areas etc.

A quick google shows lots of councils do this, try calling environmental health dept at your local authority.

Out of interest does it make a difference? I imagine some are still lazy and don't bother with the responsibility of being a pet owner? Dog poo is a huge issue where I live.

I wouldn't know as it's been this way for over a decade so no comparison, but it's not a huge issue here.
Our Sophie's poo is really light, if I don't put a couple of pebbles in the bag before picking up I wouldn't be able to lob it up a tree.

Every jacket and coat I own has bags in at least one pocket, simple task that's no big issue.
Dog poo bags....Great.
Dog Poo bags left to rot in a hedge......Not Great.

If your dog poos in the country (not a town or a park) PLEASE don't bag it and leave it in a hedge. Far better to let nature take it's course, it'll have disappeared in a few days time. The discarded, filled poo bag will be with us for years.

Rant over.
Thought this was common knowledge, have done it for years. Heat for letting people know
I use them for my poop when I'm out and no toilet to be found and can be neatly deposited in any local bin. Don't leave in a shop one as It can be pungent

Yeah, I'd love to carry that bag of tish around the park each day.
Filling them with sand, (from the beach), produces an inexpensive means of building a habitable structure. I for one am planning to escape the mortgage treadmill in this manner. Bless you ASDA!

You should really empty your coat pockets when you get back from walking the dog, euuugh
