ALL Laminate Flooring £5/£8 OR £12 per SQM FROM TOMORROW @ B&Q

Found 21st Aug 2014
Just had a leaflet through from B&Q stating that they are reducing ALL laminate flooring to £5/£8 OR £12 per SQM until 1st September 2014.
This does state ALL LAMINATE not just selected ones.
So seems like a good deal

Why do you want the B&Q leaflet if your going to the market for flooring ?

Taxi....:)

Just go this through as an email too.

So the stuff that was £3 sq metre last week is going up in price ?

Thanks for posting as i need quite a few packs for my lounge. Hot.Anybody know how to get over the problem of beading.I have a old house and can not remove the skirting board. I think the best way is to get plain beading and paint the same colour as the skirting board.

I would get beading to match the new flooring ? Less hassle of painting ?

Yes, you can get either pine beading, or white primed MDF beading and paint to match your skirting. IMO this looks much better than trying to match beading from the laminate range, especially if you've got older/taller skirting as it looks part of the skirting, rather than a lazy way of fitting laminate.

Cheaper too probably.

Tip - prime, undercoat and top coat the beading first. Then pin down (or glue) and fill holes and make good with top coat, much easier than trying to paint them when down next to the laminate.

B&Q also have a load of Multi Buys on at the moment on Realwood which I think they are keeping on over the Bank Holiday , some great savings if you Buy 4 packs or more,

The £3sqm was a WIGIG line , so I think they planned to sell out before this deal, if they still have any it will still be £3sqm as they wouldn't be able to put it up

I picked up my £752 order of laminate today.
Wet for the Colours Teccota Victoria Black Oak diy.com/nav…662

Its splash proof and rated for bathrooms, kitchens and heavy use rooms.
Im doing the entire downstairs, bathroom and kitchen in it, great price for so much flooring (over 60m2) and this also has integrated underlay on the board itself, this saves even more money!
Really happy with my buy, not sure why this isn't hotter, the laminate is 12mm thick and feels really good quality!

A good 5mm foam underlay with integrated DPM (needed on concrete) is only around £1/sqm anyway, so not that much of a deal as the above has only got 2mm integrated, plus 10mm board.

For me, I'm laying the laminate on floorboards and i have 60m2 to lay.
So its saved me around £60 in underlay.
Plus i haven't seen laminate of this grade and quality for the same price anywhere!

Quickstep is way way better than the crud that B&Q sell. B&Q stuff is a nightmare to fit as it doesn't click together and you have to join 3 planks at the same time whereas quickstep you just click together 2 planks at a time
