Fab post, thanks for the heads up. A trek to Tesco's with the kids … Fab post, thanks for the heads up. A trek to Tesco's with the kids tomorrowStill hate them though, pants customer service and I'm only getting the eggs, they can go screw for everything else

Really? I've always found Tesco second only to Amazon for customer service.

Same, but sometimes they can be quite stupid. Once my charger wouldn't fit into my Hudl and they asked me if I tried a factory reset. Like that would help!

Completely agree. Don't get all the hate for Tesco on here.
Cadbury's outlet shops should be doing an offer better than this but won't.
The Cadbury eggs are a joke. They only have one egg in them rather than two. Avoid!

Only one egg? But why would there be two? I don't understand?

I can only assume they means the Crème Egg egg. Not very clear what they mean though.
That's maybe true but when you are getting the whole thing for 75p and it is normally about 60p just for a creme egg nowadays that is a good deal still!
hot!! even better with staff discount : )

The large hollow easter egg used to always come with 2 standard creme eggs
Is Cadburys using naff cheapo chocolate for their eggs now?
They do this every year. Good deal

Cadbury outlet shops are a complete scam 90% of stock can be bought cheaper at supermarkets
Good deal, I think this works out best per gram of chocolate, however we need them for gifts so will get the bigger ones I think
I were gutted when they were only 1 creme egg to last year u got 2 with the egg

I think they are. Cadburys used to be my fav but not now. It's not just their Easter eggs, it's all their chocolate since they were taken over by Kraft in my view.

Oh I see, that is disappointing. Cadburys are getting worse and worse

Not for me at the moment. It's actually Tesco Direct I have the gripe … Not for me at the moment. It's actually Tesco Direct I have the gripe with but hate the whole lot right now. Have you heard about the Hotpoint fiasco? Well basically my dryer from Tesco direct was delivered on 26th Nov last year, 3 days after Hotpoint issued safety notice and I realised this only now but basically electrical safety council, chief fire officer association etc say do NOT use and I go to Tesco as that's who my contract is with and a lady from customer care has completely brushed me off and said wait for Hotpoint to contact you ( that could be 10/12 weeks away and fixed as late as sept/oct) but I argued my case and am still waiting for them to get back to meSo it's less than 3 months old, can't use and it's winter. Thanks for nothing Tesco

good idea. i like it
Hmm.. Cadbury, Nestlé and Mars medium eggs all come with just one bar/egg/bag of treats this year. Coincidence?

Reluctant heat added.
i know, they used to all come with 2 bars / eggs etc...

i got a mini egg easter egg yesterday, and it came with 1 small bag of mini eggs (containing just 10 mini eggs) X)
Cheers got 16 coming with my shopping, now i wonder how many will last till Easter lol
Cadburys chocolate these days is not worth buying however cheap better to buy dark real chocolate
Mmmmmm nice
Anyone know how this works out gram for gram compared to say just buying chocolate by the bar? I.E. Forgetting the easter egg bit, is it a good deal for chocolate?

How tight can you be? avoid? at 75p. Pretty good deal in my opinion. Some people want are never happy................
i cant see any eggs that have two bars or items in them, whether its nestle, mars or cadburys.so why is cadbury being singled out ?

I had to stop buying selection boxes for this very reason, even opened ones I had wrapped Then had to buy again when they wasn't on offer.

Ok for the kids about the right price 75p a chocolate egg with one chocolate bar, as you can usually get 4 chocolate bars for a £1 anyway
I just looked up the Cadbury outlet and seriously the factory where they make it all and the nearest one is Gloucester, surely there would be one in Bournville
There is one at bournville. There's also one at Lowry outlet at Manchester as wrll

Maths time!
The Cadbury Creme Eggs Egg 138g at £1.50, is £1.09 per 100g (150p / 138g).
4x would be 552g and £3 (after offer).
So 300p / 552g = 0.543478261, aka £0.54 / 100g.

A Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Bar 200g at £1.50, is £0.75 per 100g.
(has 50p knocked off, also making it the cheapest grams per penny Cadbury's bar on Tesco)

So yes, as long as you do the Buy 2 Get 2 Free deal, this is cheaper than buying a bar - so stock up and pig out! ;D

Cadury's outlets stores are noticeably flaming expensive!

Taste time

wrong.

Forgetting about all the time and effort (i value my time) and the fact of creme eggs/mars bars/mini eggs etc which you would struggle to make. Most people prefer cadburys/mars/nestle chocolate
Cadbury chocolate, even their Dairy Milk, just doesn't do it for me anymore.

Mars easter eggs are still fairly decent. 1 mars bar and the hollow egg (£1 each in ASDA at the moment). Don't believe they've changed their formula, as it still tastes fairly nice.

Modelez/Kraft has destroyed Cadburys.

Yeah but with the crappy chocolate they're using now they are actually doing you a favour!:3
