To anyone that uses the clay.. Is it any good?

I currently use Vo5 Matt Clay and wondering how it would compare to that? I used Brylcreem 'B' Styling Clay but it was a nightmare to wash off your hands after.

Cheers

I used to use the V05 Matt Clay, I actually now use the Brylcreem Invis Hold Cream 75ML. It actually holds like the wax (not sure how it manages that), I originally wanted the wax but they never seem to stock it so went for the cream and used it ever since. I think your meant to use the cream if you want it to be easier to wash out. It wont be as strong as wax though.

Nah the reason I use clay is for the matt look plus my hair is really thin and just doesn't work well with anything else and matt clay is easy to wash out for me.

Maybe I should just stick with that, if it ain't broke!

Can anyone recommend a strong long lasting wax/clay/other for really thick hair. I like to spike it but no wax seems to hold its shape and just droops down and I end up looking a remington

Falcon for men. Jeezuz, remember that choking soapy smell it had!

I use Moosehead shaping dough. Matt and holds whatever style you fancy, best for shorter hair tho. How much simpler it is for many of my mates who have lost their hair and have the obligatory 'Mitchell' buzz cut.:-D

Fructis Spiking gel (specifically the one that say's spike in front, not the others). Stongest gel i have imo. I like the smell as well, it's like their shampoo, but it goes away once dry.

I have the Brycleam collection too, got a whole mix of stuff totalling £30+ for free with a magazine (wax, clay, cream, gel etc) :-D Good stuff, but Fructis Spiking is much stronger. If you use a lot, you can even turn your hair rock hard
