Got s blue one cheers

Are the PS4 controllers crap? My bro has two and they are both falling apart.

Cheers op.

Nice one! Just been looking for a plain black one, this price is great and also been looking for the dual charging unit, 25 quid in Argos (but out of stock) they were 20 quid at GameStop, so got one of those also! Cheers OP

Thanks, added heat!

HOT OP, great price!
It's also ABSURD that Argos are selling these EXACT same controllers for £54.99!!!!

How can you tell if these have the 'disintegrating' thumb buttons problem? Without finding out in due course of course!

ordered a blue, thanks for the heads up.

I still think they're too expensive and was hoping a £29.99 price point was coming soon :P

thanks op, just ordered a blue one. have some heat

My launch units controller is the same. I haven't heard anything official about a fix.

It says 'release date 29/11/2013' so am I correct in thinking it is the one with dodgy thumb grips?

We've sent 2 or 3 back now all with broken R2 buttons (the thin plastic hinges all snapped in the same place) but Sony were apparently redesigning them to make them stronger last we heard, not sure if these are the new or old ones tbh.

I can put up with the rubber wearing away but when you've had the same 360 pad for 6 years and the PS4 give up after a week somethings wrong.

Damn thats not good, i think i'll hold off from buying these older ones just in case then, the one ive got is find but i only bought my console last month

I wouldn't read in to the 'release date' too much, probably just a generic placeholder giving the PS4 release date or something. There's no way to tell regarding the issues mentioned.

Thanks, Ordered!

Good price OP so heat for that, but I had a red controller at launch from Gamestop and the rubber on the the analog sticks wore away very quickly and then the R2 button broke so I had to send it back. It took over a week to get a response from Gamestop about returning the controller and then it took a month to receive my new one. The new one lasted about 3 months and the R2 button broke again (last week), so instead of going through the very slow process of returning it to Gamestop and possibly receiving another controller with the same problems, I got an RMA back to sony by filling in a form online. Here's the link if anybody needs it:

Could be wrong but I thought any non-black controller would be too new to have that problem.

Are these pre owned or brand new?

I just didn't know if this was a known problem. I don't have a PS4 myself. I guess it is then? ;p

Heat and ordered! Thanks!

Heat added. I missed out on white (again)

My red one had the 'disintegrating' thumb buttons problem and the R2 sticking problem. You could get red or blue controllers at launch, so the only safe bet is the white ones which are unfortunetely out of stock.

says 1st to the 7th of DEC???

WHITE IS INSTOCK AGAIN

Dodgy analogues were sorted not long after release. Very unlikely you'll end up with one of them now from anywhere. White have never had that problem. Good price, bad retailer.

Pretty annoying that the white one goes in and out of stock through out the day, been doing that for the last few days. Still a decent price though, probably the best price I've seen it at.

Been waiting on these being back in stock for ages. Ordered a white one. Thanks.

Ordered, thanks
