All Suppers £1! Pizza Mario , Tollcross, Glasgow

Found 21st Nov
A chip shop in the east end of Glasgow is offering all Suppers for £1 today and tomorrow with proceeds to charity. Pizza Mario on Tollcross Road. Restricted to 3 suppers per person.

For those of you outside Scotland a supper generally means "with chips" so fish n chips is called a fish supper up here.

I went past at 5:15pm they had the place decorated outside with balloons and despite the driving rain, traffic was busy and the queue was pretty long maybe 40/50 metres, would imagine that'll grow if the rain goes off!

So if you are in the area it's worth a look!

Chips wae chips, my favourite supper.

Local chippy offering a final supper for the Glasgow east end tims before they get humped by the mighty 'Well in Sunday's final at Hampden. No offence intended by the 'tims' comment as this is a term used up here, and Celtic fans do not find it offensive, well none I know do!

How about a Deep-fried Mars Bar Supper?

Would rather not risk my life going to tollcross for a cheap chippy.

He could be a hun ned, so quite right to stay out of this side of town.

supper meaning 'with chips' is also used up north I.e. south of the border, is there a map that shows the border line? if I had a shipping container freezer down here and a freezer lorry would they let me buy in bulk?

They'd probably say you must be English, you mean "a bag of chips"?

"Cone" seems to be the term around here.

Been at the Royal seeing my newborn daughter all day and this was on my way home so just finishing off my £1 smoked sausage supper now, thanks OP!

Yes but I don't like skin on one side - that's definitely a South of the Border thing.
Generally Haddock or Whiting rather than Cod too.
