All Swiftkey Keyboard themes now FREE with latest Android update!

SwiftKey Keyboard has been my go to keyboard app for the last couple of years.

The keyboard uses Artificial Intelligence to automatically learn your writing style, including the emoji you love to use (if you use emoji), the words that matter to you and how you like to type. That means autocorrect and predictive text that actually works because it adapts to you.

Highly customisable but many of the themes used to cost money. However, with the latest update to the Android app I noticed that these in-app purchases have been scrapped!

They made all the themes free months ago, but I do wonder what their business model is now - do they charge for anything else? How're they making money?

I just noticed this morning when I looked at the release notes. Still I do remember purchasing a few packs a while back.

This stumped me too, free to download and isn't ad-supported

Micro$oft.

just installed this, impressed, easy to switch between languages, which is what I was looking for, thanks

Is there still a security issue with Swiftkey?

"However, recent developments have turned the tides, as SwiftKey is experiencing a major privacy problem. Users have reported that other people's word suggestions are getting mixed in with their own, including email IDs, and SwiftKey finally confirmed this issue. They've since issued a fix, but the behaviour came right back, so we can't recommend SwiftKey until this problem is sorted out." From a review Aug. 2016.

i did love using swiftkey but have switched to google keyboard as it does a better job predicting words as is syncs email etc

I hadn't realised how much better it had got, the built in Google search function is really convenient

+1. I used SwiftKey for years, but Googles own keyboard beats it hands down nowadays. Never thought I'd move from SwiftKey, but try the Gboard if you haven't for a while, and guarantee you will be impressed.

SwiftKey was a great keyboard but then the Google, which was basic but pretty decent, got better even better with Lollipop. I haven't used SwiftKey since then (KitKat/4.4). The biggest request was multilanguage support which SwiftKey offered for ages and the GBoard update only just added. That said being British I suck and only speak English!

just changed to Google keyboard
