hardly pedantic to point out the title was spelt incorrectly

it doesnt help matters when people search for deals if the item is spelt wrong as they'll never find it!

thought it was obvious but obviously not to all

and it is WERE, not WAS there any cheese boards? One question mark does the same job as two as well oO
Edited by: "csiman" 24th Dec 2010

Our ASDA reduces them later on in the day. As we're hosting Xmas, we're not going to gamble on getting it last minute and also fight for them. Good luck for those that get them cheap though. It really depends on the year / how much stock they have as to whether its worth holding out. Looks like there's loads in Wigan!!!

its a forum ffs! We can talk about whatever we want. Dont need some little hitler dictating what we can talk about thank you very much lol

I suggest you get an OED as you cant even spell turkeys correctly LMAO

BTW, asda turkeys like all their meat is just rank!

Store and product date code specific - just back from local Asda - none of these items reduced.

Hear hear! Sick to death of the self-appointed morality police on here insisting their way is the only way, no other viewpoints are acceptable. The deals aren't what they used to be either, as far as I'm concerned they can shove it up their well-moderated ar**s.

you dont spell Ducks Duckies
" " Cows Cowies
The spelling of Turkeys makes far me sense than you realize!..
Another spelling that is a bit odd is Sheep. Why dont we say for instance "look at those sheeps"...

Prey tell, why have you chosen to use the capatilised form for turkey in this instance?
Ok, it's the noun but the capital T is unnecessary, since you have chosen the plural, therefore it is not the country, and, it's not the people of Turkey (the country) here either, though to be correct here, they would be of course, Turks.
In fact, "....far me sense....." oh dear

By the way, you missed the apostrophe from the word its. Written correctly it should be it's... And also from the word doesn't...

FAIL....

'Prey tell'
'capatilised'
'and, it's not the people'

Pots and kettles and all that - we all do it. Lighten up everyone, it's Christmas Eve!!!

Queensferry nr Chester were marking all theirs down including gravy at 9am today so maybe it is nationwide when they get around to it. The staff seemed more inclined to take down Christmas trees and decorations and put New Year signage up!

And where do Asda source their turkeys from? Are they a special breed to taste bad or something?

Yes, all the birds are virgin chimera hybrids.

typical. Bought the last 5quid duck yesterday from my local. To be honest they held it in their fridge for me at customer services. So i should not complain. Not suprising tho as all dates on them to use by boxing day. Gonna freeze ours tho.

Yeah, shame about all these little Hitler types continually going on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about SPELLING...

As you say, its a forum. People can express themselves however they wish.

"turkeys" was perfectly acceptable in 1806.

Maybe the OP is 200 years old?
