Good deal I like kingsmills whole meal

Shame my Iceland is a dump. Genuinely would prefer to spend the extra 50p at the Asda down the road.

Excellent thanks..... I do enjoy watching the unclean, single, over weight knuckle dragging women in our local try and negotiate the isles with their many many kids.....

Yes bought two loaves of Kingsmill 50/50 earlier this afternoon. Also Farmfoods have the equivalent versions of Hovis for 2 for £1.50

Terrible bread I wouldn't give it to the ducks warbys /thread

Get stuffed ya numpty. As others have said keep your negative bread thoughts to yourself. This thread is regarding a pretty good deal not about your own snobby bread preferences!!! oO

Cheers OP. thanks for posting (_;)

Wow people get really worked up over their daily bread! Seem unwilling to forgive people who trespass against them too!

When did this deal start? Was in there yesterday(20/05/2013)and i paid £1.80 for 2 (Ilford branch)

Lol!

they have been this price for the last thousand years in iceland - cold

i would much rather see 75p for 1 than £1.50 for 2, its discrimination against the single person with a tiny freezer

Nope, youre both incorrect, they were £1.80 only a couple of days ago and have been £2 for two at one point. So its a good deal when you buy as much bread as we do - 8 lunch boxes, breakfasts and snacks= upto 4 loaves a day!

The seeded version isnt in the offer - but thats probably a good thing as the damned stuff seems to fall apart!!

Iceland began business in 1970. You might want to check your math on that one, fella.

I always buy two loaves and stick 'em in the fridge. It is better to freeze bread though as apparently it goes stale quicker in the fridge, though personally, and as I work shifts, I go through quite a lot of bread, so don't necessarilly have to worry about that. And even if it does go stale I'll most likely toast it. Mostly the bread I buy after storing it like this tastes fine though does appear a little dry, even so it doesn't bother me personally. Also, from what I've noticed, it doesn't go moldy as quick when storing it in the fridge. Managed to get a couple of 50/50.

Incidentally, there were quite a few stocked up on the shelves at the Twickenham store just as you walk in the store buy the main enterance.

Thanks OP.
