I assume its for new customers only...as usual...

Moving House and glad I held off ordering. All bundles now come with either a Pure Jongo T6X speaker or £100 voucher from Amazon, John Lewis or M&S.

Also, up to £80 Quidco or £85 Topcashback depending on package.

12 month contract

I went for...

Full House Bundle at £55 x 12 Months plus £20 activation = £680/year
Minus
Quidco Cashback (If I get it - tracked within 2 minutes) = £70
Amazon Voucher (Same as cash to me as I buy loads from there - others may feel different) = £100

Potential total outlay (for me anyway) = £510 or £42.50/month

Will use this to negotiate with Sky. I take it the full house bundle comes with about 100mbps fibre?
Iv got 200mg on full house.
How long is this deal on for?
For those looking to maybe sell the "£199" speaker, CEX will give you £28 cash, or £40 voucher...

Yes it is. I'm currently in my sky notice period (half price offer ending plus house I'm moving to already has virgin setup). I have taken the virgin offer and also plan to call sky to negotiate.

That was an option for an extra £5 or £10 for 300mb. Coming from 15mb sky broadband I'm sure 100mb will be adequate for me.

Until 3rd of January
Have they improved their boxes yet? The Tivo was stupidly slow to respond to the remote and became too frustrating to use in the end.

The new V6 is pretty fast. No 4k content though, keep that in mind.
Can anyone help? I’ve handed in my cancellation with Virgin because of poor renewal offers. Could my partner take out his own contract in our house and still qualify for new customer deals?

Just called sky and got put through to a "Rejoining" team. The offered the following 12 month contract options -

1.Sky TV with Movies and Sports, line rental, PAYT calls and Unlimited Broadband (15MB) - £68

2.Sky TV with Movies and Sports, line rental, Anytime Calls International and Unlimited Broadband- £80.99

3.Sky TV with Movies and Sports, line rental, Anytime UK calls and Fiber Broadband (18 month contract on Fiber - 30/40MB speed) - £78.00 (discounted for 12 months)

4. Sky TV with Movies and Sports - £40

Im thinking option 4 with Virgin Broadband. Hmmm...
I'm moving house and looking for broadband / tv deal. Unfortunately we don't have a land line and I don't think BT have fibre laid here yet.

Any suggestions?

Netflix is 4k on it ? Figured other apps were too. I never use it anyways but it always looks good if I do put it on

Go through with your cancellation and they’ll call you a week later. I’ve got Box sets package, sports in HD and movies for 22.50 a month. Wouldn’t recommend the switch to Virgin TV as the boxes are terrible, and so slow in comparison to Sky

Oh yeah, Netflix and other apps might be 4k but I know iplayer isn't which sucks big time. It's a substandard little thing

Amazing deal. Are you with sky for broadband?
I would avoid virgin at all cost, poor broadband quality, always dropping. We're looking for a new provider.

Had same existence with sky (North London, internet unusable after 7pm)
And not great with BT (East London, frequent disconnects at random times throughout the day)

You have better luck with reliable internet in a barn in Romanian village than in London (I don't know if the rest of the UK is also so bad)

No, BT for broadband. Infinity, BT Sport (With HD and watch on sky bolt on) 23.99. Pretty happy with what I pay for tbh. Just spent a lot of time on the phones negotiating but it’s worth it saving £50+ a month

Bump
We've gone for the VIP bundle with this offer but stupid TCB didn't track so I hope the claim works with them! We wanted Sky Sports HD and BT Sport HD and Sky and BT just couldn't come near the £88 a month for that with an extra box, let alone if we wanted all the other channels like movies in HD and the box sets too so it was a no brainer for us. It's a 12 month contract I guess so we can always switch back next year if Virgin are rubbish. Sky told me they'll have BT sports on their packages late this year or early next year too so worth watching out for.

I crumbled!

Got Offered Box sets and movies with HD sports for £43.75 with £25 credit to stay. This is discounted for 12 months BUT is on a rolling contract (no new contract). Terminated the phone and broadband.

Will cancel it and keep dish for freesat if I decide to keep Virgin.
