OK so this has been around for ages and posted on HUKD a few times but I thought I'd repost it as a refresher, especially as it gets mentioned in other threads quite often.

So essentially it is what it says on the tin. Top up £15 and convert it into Three's "All in One 15" bundle to get 300 minutes, 3000 texts and unlimited 3G/4G data for 30 days. Outside the UK you get free 25GB roaming in Three's Feel At Home destinations:

Australia, Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Macau, New Zealand, Norway, Republic of Ireland, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, United States

You aren't allowed to tether at all on this deal.

NOTE: If you click on "Get Deal" on a mobile you will see something that tells you that it's £15 only if you set up a monthly recurring payment ... this is an a error on their mobile website; it's £15 regardless of how you pay.

UPDATE: From 19th August 2015, this add-on will cost £20. Users have reported being able to pay for and stack many of these add-ons in advance of the price increase. It remains to be seen whether this trick will pay off.

Price includes £5 monthly discount for paying by a recurring method, such as direct debit.

Easily to cancel, but worth mentioning.

Shyte tethering.

I don't understand;

If I have a three sim and buy a £15 voucher , can you buy the unlimited data or is it £20 without a recurring payment?

Pay As You Go plans do not allow tethering. If you would like to tether, you will need to choose a Pay Monthly plan and / or an Add-On that does allow tethering.

I am on SIM All-you-can-eat Data, 200 Minutes - 12 Months plan for £15/month (new signups are £17/month now). This plan gives me 4GB tethering allowance every month. Also, if You call the CS, they will likely to throw in 300 mins to Three for free, too.

Maybe this deal is suitable for some, but not for me. Did not vote hot or cold.

Have just moved to this after being on the £15 one plan and it ending. This was a cheaper option than there 30days contract sims, doesn't allow teathering but I do not use that, been fine so far topped up £30 bought the bundle and lined up another for when it finishes.

shame with 3. they had one plan £15.00 all you can eat data unlimited tethering and 2k min plus 5k text and 3 to 3.

they kicked everyone off this plan and changed there tariff to £28.00 for smiler min etc.
for this reason 3 is cold. they don't respect existing customers..

the payg all in one 15 is still £15 without a direct debit. just buy a top up voucher, go online, pop in the voucher number, it prompts you to chose an add on, choose the all in one 15 and boom done. as mentioned you can queue them up as well.

I do agree kicking existing customers off the old tariff was bad as they should have left Customers with it that had it. it's the only thing over the many years with three that I have been disappointed in. their retention is also non existent now that they have reached their subscribed limit, don't expect a good deal as a long standing customer looking to leave. it is the market however and as customers we can only vote with our money and unfortunately there is not a great choice at the moment

Yep, when they needed the customers, they had great deals. Now they refuse to offer discounts and said that they want everyone to have the same plans therefore existing customers get same offerings as new customers. Gonna move to id, they also run on 3 and are monthly so easier to leave should the need arise.

I had this deal. Decided to go with Sainsburys for £8 a month.

Yeah, like up the mountains or in the desert.

Does anyone on this know if its possible to queue up, say, 4 addons for when travelling abroad?

Can't see anything either about £5 discount when paying by direct debit

do they allow tethering?

Tethering price information
Please note that we do not allow tethering on any of our current plans. If you do use this service it is likely to use up large amounts of your data allowance very quickly, and you will be liable to pay any charge that may occur if you go over your allowance. Please check for updates on our website as this may change in the future.

You can queue your addons so if you buy 2 or more when one ends after 30 days the next one starts. You can only use them for roaming in feel at home countries for 3 months total in any 12 month period so buying 4 addons as you asked would not work as they DO suspend your sim if you spend to long abroad. t&c here three.co.uk/Pri…514 .The way around this is to just get a few pay as you go sims here in the UK and use them with a £15 addon when needed but obviously you mobile number will change.
One last thing you do NOT have to pay by direct debit or rolling contract like the op stated you can simply top up by voucher or debit credit card when needed.

lazy comment....

I can tell you from recent experience that Australia has limited free wifi all down the East Coast; all hostels charge. New Zealand is the same and if you go slightly off the beaten track (pretty easy out there!) you will find none.

They have really bad network..no signal most of the time..can wait to finish my contract and jump to giffgaff or any O2 network

little confused is this payg or contract? as i dont want another contract but want to be able to use the data on my two week trip to spain next month:)

I'm also still on The One Plan

I've been on this for about 6 months. Just buy £15 credit and then convert to the add on. No DD needed. Is there an imminent change coming that requires a DD to retain the same price?

That's a mistake on the website - the £5 discount is for 12month contract sims. The prices verify; £22 (1month) vs £17 (12month). This is PAYG which still has the £15AYCE add-on available - not sure how long it'll last as they won't like PAYG being cheaper than their contract tariffs I'm sure.

They kicked me off of a great tarrif...£15/mth unlimited tethering etc, and at that time, the service and signal was excellent...no drop outs. Now we are constantly getting Internet drop outs on both our 3 phones...what's happened to the flawless service? I'm looking at moving to another provider to be honest.

And as far as I'm aware on pay as you go, you can just buy a £15 voucher, top up and then convert it to 300 minutes, 3000 texts and all you can eat data...no need to set up a direct debit.

I am still on the one plan as is my wife and my son.

Has everyone else been kicked off that deal?

has anyone actually tried tethering with this?

i have the one plan (or whatever it's officially called now since they made the changes a few months back) and before I moved house, for about a year I routinely used as much as 200GB a month tethering with no adverse effects

I don't need to tether anymore and would be tempted to downgrade to this if I could still do a little tethering occasionally "unofficially"

This. It still surprises me how little wifi there actually is around in 2015, decent data roaming is incredibly useful.

I've tethered on my Ultimate Internet Sim plan as long as you use a VPN and are tethering on an android phone instead of an iPhone seems to work fine for me

me and my wife still on the one plan...I heard about people being kicked off this plan but ..touch wood, until now we heard nothing from 3

Nothing at the moment is as good as their old ‘The One Plan’ with its all-inclusive 2000 cross network minutes, 5000 texts, 5000 3-3 minutes and all You Can Eat Data with unlimited tethering. I know they were on about phasing it out which will force a lot of ppl to take a closer look at other network deals due to lack of options/ similar tariffs.

Thanks for posting the £15 deal op good for ppl keeping costs low.
