Seems pretty good deal for specs and £70. Great alternative if you dont want to spend £150+ on a netbook.

I was thinking the same thing - I'd avoid it completely.

No point in repeatedly posting these things just to watch them go very cold.

Nothing goes colder quicker on HUKD

Not money well spent IMHO, also voted cold as i'm on a crusade to stop people using excessive exclamation marks when they post to make out theres is the best deal since sliced bread !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I salute you. I'm on a crusade to stop people finishing their subject line with "Bargain" - I'll decide whether it's a bargain or not thanks

It come with a piece of string with a coke can on the end instead of a modem what a pile of **** !!!!

Most phones have better spec than this junk.

Has it occured to some of you that some people aren't fussed about super fast spec and playing role play games, they just want something to type letters and emails on and occasionally go online?

Too much snobbery on cheap netbooks IMO.

I think they'll find that lots of pages won't load in the browser.

Is it easy to print the letter you've typed, can it attached straight to a printer? or is it not that straight forward?

maybe a fully fledged "proper" netbook can?

No, has it occurred to you that it might not be snobbery and may in fact just be kind knowledgeable people giving some good advice and preventing people being disappointed with a sub par machine that will in fact struggle to do most of the things you've mentioned with any reasonable speed.

There's a reason why this operating system is called wince.

Seriously, if you don't know what you're buying then stick to recognized brands from places like PC World where you can tell the assistant what you need it to do and then take it back if it fails to. If you do know what you're buying then wait and see what the new Android-based machines come up with over the next 12 months.
