aren't these the things that just make you **** yourself? lol

I'm not voting as this may work for some people but I personally think these things are ridiculous. There advertising on GMTV this morning was a lady who had something near a size 8/6 waist! You can't get thin through pills. Save your money and go to the Gym!

side effects are pretty embarrassing-not voting either way because although I guess compared to the ridiculous rrp its cheap but they are imho a complete rip off and just prey on vulnerable peoples desire to look like the completely unrealistic idea of perfection perpetuated by so many stupid magazines-its very very sad that people fall for nonsense like these "miracle pills"-diet and exercise are the best answer.

probably cost about ten pence to make each months supply too-drug companies are thieves!

Very well said, no shortcuts, calories in should be less than calories out.

I am sure i read that these stop your body absorbing fat which means the fat has to come out. I heard on the radio a woman saying she had to wear pads as everytime she coughed or sneezed this gloopy fat stuff leaked out. How disgusting is that!
Instead of slimming pills these obese people should stop eating so much.

Heat from me. It's about time the british lady slimmed down for her man!

i tried these and they didnt do anything at all(not even the embarrasing stuff).
there really is no point in them because if you dont eat anything fatty you dont need to take them (just like a healthy diet really) and if you do carry on eating fatty foods then you risk pooing it out (if they work for you) and you'll rely on the tablets too much and still not lose weight.

not that im condoning these tablets in any way. i think your last statement is a bit unfair.

i am a larger lady although not obese, it is due to a medical condition NOT eating too much, in fact i eat less than my skinny husband !! so please think before you generalise things like this as it gets quite upsetting.

personally i think if the doctors give these on prescription they must work, logically i dont know why people dont get them on prescription and save themselves all that money and have proper supervision but heh ho each to their own .

Yes, but properly, by eating less and exercising more.

We men are just as bad I have to say, it is not just women who need to slim down.

It is all about a proper diet (not going ON a diet) over many months and years, and gradually increasing your exercise.

Well said - slimming down certainly doesn't happen overnight! Just a healthy balanced diet and regular exercise.

Voted cold as
a) danger of aneorexics getting attached
b) Its no substiute for a balanced diet and excersice. If they just eat the same and use a fat blocker but have the pill they may gain less but wont lose any.

Should be reserved for Obese people on a all round program only imo. Plus fatties eating so much is good for the retail economy

If you have a BMI that these are recommended for, then just get them from the doctor on prescription?????? Why pay £35?

to look like the completely unrealistic idea of perfection perpetuated … to look like the completely unrealistic idea of perfection perpetuated by so many stupid magazines-

You're fat arent you? :whistling:

Human beings were designed to be active and its only with the lives we live ie cars, desk jobs, manufactured foods that the size is going up.

Eat sensible portions of natural foods, meat, fish. nuts, fruit & veg 5-6 times a day, be active and you will be close to magazine pictured celebs as our bodies are designed to be. Fat storage is only a defense mechanism for the body to use when food supplies are irregular and not needed in our times, having as much calories as people do is the issue, not celebs like Madonna who take care of themselves.

I managed to get hold of some of these a few years ago.. They do work...
You end up not eating as much fatty food, and the poohs are very greasy and loose, especially after a curry or pizza...

Then as they were not prescribed for me, I only took them on days I was going to eat fatty food, like a nice curry or a nice pizza.. Still appeared to work ok. Now I don't take then, my body is storing fat like mad... I have mega boobs.. Honest..

As far as i am aware, these are half strength of a prescription version hence why they are available without prescription. Although many people do have medical conditions which control their weight there are some who are overweight due to bad eating habits. However many do have difficulty sticking to balanced diets whether it be down to lack of will power or someother reason. On these tablets eating fatty foods could cause embarressing incidents and if thats not an incentive to change your diet i don't know what is!! Whether or not these are a miracle pill i do doubt but if they can help change peoples eating habits i'm all for it!

Oh and 30% (ish) off an rrp on in the 1st week i would say is a hot deal..heat from me!

yeah-6 foot 3 with a 32 inch waist fat! why do you assume that someone must be fat to have an opinion about the evils of magazines damaging peoples self esteem?

our bodies are meant to look like magazine celebs? interesting then that despite the fact that so many doctors and psychiatrists treating people with eating disorders have slammed these magazines for creating an unrealistic goal for women that YOU seem to know better.

typical humans , looking for the easy way out

get ya **** down thr gym ,,, and go on a treadmill ... i can assure u that u will loose weight within a weeks time !

might want to combine this deal with the cheap toilet paper from asda - charming I am sure

i used to be a right fat git ...went from a size 18 to an 8 losing 7 stone..funnily enough sitting around all day blaming big bones while stuffing dairy milk and burgers into my mouth was not helping.....pills dont work...we all know how to stay healthy and lose fat but all want a quick miracle fix...there isnt a quick fix...stop eating crap and fat and get active...what a waste of money these are.

Wow, so many people living in ivory towers. It must be great to be perfect, like the people on the front of celeb mags

Yeah but read the comments, they might be thin but they're not happy are they? Spiteful and vitriolic is what I see:whistling:

But anyway, these are a rip off. As said, if you really need them get them from the doctor:thumbsup:

I wonder if 20 years down the line people will regret taking these. The human body requires fat. A BMI of less than 5% is very dangerous.

Just don't go jogging after a fatty meal and a alli tablet...

Both, hold the pills

I know eating a load of mentos and drinking coke at the same time can cause a stomach explosion that could kill....

I wonder if eating a huge fatty curry, and a handfull of these tablets could have a similar effect...???

There is only one way to find out......

I await the youtube video..

think I'll stick with Slim Fast - it's great with chips !

My last statement was about Obese and Morbidly Obese people. Obese people have a BMI of over 30. i was not talking about large, tubby, fat or chunky people hence the specific use of the word Obese.

Saw an advert today in the paper that these are now £20 in Tescos. for 42 tablets.

Hmm.... from reading the experiences on the company's website forum, it seems that the side effects are caused if you do not follow the instructions. Shocking that, you know, that if you do not follow the instructions for medication it will have side effects. Gits.

I'm probably going to give these a try, ultimately I work 8-6 with 30 mins travel time at the end of that, with two days a week off. I've been losing weight, slowly, at the worst I waste £20, 30 or whatever they cost.
