My mother in law asked for some flours for Christmas, these will do nicely......
If you care about buying branded flour, buy this. Otherwise, head for Aldi or Lidl where you'll find strong white flour at 55p/1.5kg - about half the price of this.

At Aldi they currently doing bread mix packets, sun dried tomato, oat and nut, wholemeal etc etc for about 89p that makes 2x 400g loafs bread maker compatible also.

totally agree i make all my own loaf and have done for 20+ years and it is usually lidl's white flour i use often mixed with granary or malted flours from either Matthews Cotswold or Shipton Mill's both have a pretty good range of great flours
I don't care for buying branded flour either noticed no difference and blame people rather than the product itself.

Still good price for Allisons so heat..

My last oven cooked pizza I made was with a blend of cheap Lidl flour and some strong Canadian flour from Waitrose or Sainsburys, to up the protein content as I like my pizzas fairly thin (cant tell from this pic) Allisons do a super strong flour too, which uses Canadian flour 14% protein but the supermarket version I get is even higher 14.8/14.9 protein and usually cheaper.

I cook pizza too. To get the heat in the oven I put a cast iron griddle on the gas cooker and get it to 325°C then stick it in the oven set to max, 275°C.
