Even IF you were right, its still cheap if you discard the fluid:thumbsup:

Having just got a new car with allows and looking for a brush like that I will give it a go.

They are also doing several other car related items listed down the left from the link

Not even close. This kit realy is that pants.

Prob wont work very well.

Wonder wheels is what you want

Personally have to agee with the "Colds" on here. I have tried innumerable products but none really addresses the fact that my alloys are 25 spoke. ! I was given the tip that the Polish gang in my local Tesco car park use Cillit Bang Orange and a pressure washer on aloys like mine. This is the best AFAIK but a decent thin conical stiff brush is still esential.....

+1

I've started adding water to mines, about half Wonder Wheels half water and still works a treat!!

Use in an old 'squirty bottle' to get into the wheels, dirt and brake dust just runs off, sometimes no need for a brush.

Yep that bilberry stuff is the only stuff I use, I am a bit of a nerd when it comes to detailing my car - and this stuff is gentle on my hands too...:geek:

Hi there,

I've got deep dish chromes, the Bilberry looks good? what would people advise for such wheels? the wonderplan or bilberry?

Cheers

Bilberry without a doubt. Wonder Wheels contains acid which can be harmful to your wheels over time.

Wonder Wheels doesn't harm the wheels if washed THOROUGHLY with good old plain water after using.

no it doesnt if you use it properly - wash wheels thoroughly after use...though its worth looking at acid free alternatives
if you do want wonder wheels then costco when they sell it are cheap.....about 1/4 price of what Halford charge!

I used to use wonder wheels on a regular basis and recomend it to people but then I noticed that over time it was slowly distroying the paint on my alloys making them dull, and yes I did follow the instructions to the letter.
This is a strong acid, similar to brick acid, I don't recomend doing this but if you don't believe how strong it is put some on the back of your hand, you will soon rinse it off.

GT 85 in a pump spray is amazing and repells the dirt.

Thanks people...Will be trying Bilberry.

You get what you pay for ;-)

Personally I wouldn't use this on my alloys, I like Meguiars Hot Rims, it's expensive but it's brilliant.

Most people just vote on the headline!

Wheel brush in focus for £2.00 and then buy yourself some meguires wheel cleaner and be amazed. Its not cheap but will last you a couple of years of cleaning have a look on detailing world. This product is ok for the brush most prob and as a gift :-)

+1 for the Bilberry loyal.

Got some from aldi yesterday as it looked a good Deal. Says on box Not Suitable for aluminium wheels or trim with damaged lacquer. So dont use this on ya Alloy wheels folks

+1 for the meguiars stuff. It's called Meguiars Wheel Brightener. It's acid based, but kind to wheel finish. It's about £30 for 4 litres but it comes highly concentrated. You dilute it 1:4 so it makes 20 litres.
