Was looking for a single malt for a gift and spotted this in my local Sainsburys - Allt-A-Bhainne single malt down to £20 from £37. Also available online so guessing its national.

Isn’t this a German motorway?
This is a steal at £20 - I got one to sample from Morrisons last time it was this price, but missed being able to get more. Any idea how long the promotion is running? The photo is too blurry to read the text.

Any flavour comments?

Allt-A-Bhainne is a sweetly peated single malt scotch whisky matured in traditional American oak casks. It leads with notes of soft red apples, sweet runny honey, delicate smoke and toffee. The smoky flavour comes through much more markedly on the taste, giving sophisticated and multidimensional taste - the perfect pairing of peat and sweet.

Serving suggestion: Drink to your own preference, straight, on ice or mixed in a cocktail.

Back in the 70's they said you shouldn't mix peat with Speyside, that smokiness and sweetness couldn't work. But we followed our nose and started distilling whisky our way.
Speyside is known for its fruity whiskies but at Allt-A-Bhainne, we went against the grain, bringing peat to the rugged mountain ranges. We've created a sweetly peated single malt whisky with an unconventional flavour that's just a bit different.
Situated in the valley of Glenrinnes, the Allt-A-Bhainne distillery is named after the Allt-A-Bhainne river, which in Gaelic means ‘Burn of milk'. It is believed that the river was given its name from being the place where farmers washed their milk pails. Established in 1975, an era of punks, mods and breaking with convention, the Allt-A-Bhainne distillery is truly a product of its time. It is liberated, open and original.

Sorry about the rubbish pic, website says available until 13th Aug
I picked this up yesterday, the whiskey snobs say we should never pay the full price for this! But for £20 some may like it, let's see how tonight goes
Saw this at my local sainsburys too but I already have a bottle, its a very nice whiskey for drinking I think the flavour is goodbut there are nicer whiskies if you want a special one to savour. 20 quid is a great price for it but I probably wouldn't pay 37 for it.
Definitely worth a punt for £20. Reviews are good, and to be fair, I've not had a bad Speyside whisky yet.

In my humble this is peaty and very sweet and so quite drinkable but it lacks complexity and individuality so not more than 3 stars. Fair enough at £20.

As a few have alluded to, no way is this £37 whisky. For that much you can get Coal Ila and Langavulin (I'm an Islay fan, more expensive whiskys are available from other areas) which have much more going on. But it's great £20 whisky.
Heat added for the price.
Was 2 left in Sainsbury's at the Arnison Centre and I was going to buy both but thought I'd buy one to try first and hid the other on the top shelf behind the Chivas Regal. Outside had a quick sip but was a little disappointed as it's too "light" for me.Probably worth £20 but wouldn't pay £37. I think I'll stick to my Quarter Cask, Smokehead High Voltage and Abundah.
If anyone is at Arnison Centre and wants their last bottle look behind the Chivas Regal on the top shelf.
