stupid work PC - blocked that site

No problem.:)

From that site:

Atari's released pics and details on the Alone in the Dark Limited … Atari's released pics and details on the Alone in the Dark Limited Edition, which will be released in a "specially designed box" (see pics, obviously).Joining a figurine of AitD main protagonist Edward Carnby in the edition is the official soundtrack CD, art book and a good old making of documentary. And the game (obviously).

Unless there's another 'limited' edition I'm missing...

You've just summarised my average lunch hour.

The most limited aspect of this is the gameplay

Hot.. for that price I couldn't resist. Sod the game, I want the shinies.

Worth saying that it's Xbox 360 only in the title thread?

ok - thanks

For no reason I have just bought this...

How the hell do they have this? These haven't been around for years. I have it, the game is God awful, but I bought it for my collection.

The game would be decent if it wast for the controls. Such a shame. The controls make it virtually unplayable.

Aweful aweful game, can be picked up for less than a fiver everywhere, puts the originals to shame, for the wrong reasons

count yourself lucky you've just been saved 6 quid!

gone

Playing this for an hour left me with an uncontrollable urge to frisbee the game out of the window. Shame as the original was so, so good, a real favourite of mine.

Still though, oooo collectables

A patch came out to make the controls better a few months after this came out.

I played it more than a few months after it came out, the clunkiest most awkward game I ever have played. Cheap but save your dough.

cheers, i looked back at that and thought it was wrong, I blame the game X)

This reminds me of Alan Wake in some ways, huge production values but ultimately a very shallow gaming experience

now the little dude can join soap, rosie the big daddy and sam fisher on the shelf - although it's starting to get a bit crowded! love the whole figures in a game box sets - so glad they go cheap every now and again (p.s - i ordered this about 20 mins after it was posted so yes i know it's expired now so i couldn;t have got it - but it was hours ago that i did)

Tesco now sending out emails claiming 6 weeks until despatch

mine said it would be with you in a few days
