Can anyone tell me if the graphics card in this is better or worse than the AMD Radeon RX 590.
The price of the package seems quite competitive, and there are a ton of gamers that would be overjoyed to unwrap this on the 25th.
Personally, I'd have preferred to see higher clocked ram at 3600, and a better motherboard, given the opportunity to overclock the x series Ryzens. The VRM on the MB wouldn't cope so well with an upgrade to 3rd gen CPU overclocks, and the stock cooling in the package makes me wonder if the potential for that 2700x is being left on the counter.

It's quite close, but benchmarks give the lead to the 1660 super, so yes, the 1660 wins!
Any negatives to this build??

Funnily enough was looking at benchmarks yesterday between the 580, 590 and 1660....the AMD cards kill the Nvidia in BF1 but the 1660 is a few frames ahead of the 590 in all other games.
£100 more expensive than same spec on eBay from CCL compters. Just noticed no windows though

Many thanks for the help.

I'm after a pre-built gaming PC at the moment and have been close to pulling the trigger on the 'Kallis' Ryzen 7 2500x, AMD RX 590 build on CCL.

That is £633 at the moment but without windows a HDD or wifi. Just wondering if this is a better deal.

You can customize to virtually the same build (well a bit different notably the case): cclonline.com/pc/…01/ without Windows.

CCL charge you £100 to install Windows, so like I said in the header it works out competitive given this ships with Windows 10 and is ready-installed.

That 'Kallis' is the 2700x...still very nice CPUs. They are charging £100 for Windoze 10! The 'Kallis' ticks all the boxes and has a nice 512GB NVMe where this build posted is only an SSD...so the NVMe will blow it out of the water.

It depends really...this build has the extra storage hard drive (you can pick them up pretty cheap though), the slightly better graphics card and Windows 10.

The 'Kallis' has the faster NVMe drive...

It's a lot of money to be forking out (well in my eyes anyway) but if it was me i think i would have to go for this Alphasync build....
Thanks for the help everyone. Think I will wait until Black Friday to see if any other deals appear. But will definitely keep this on my radar.

To add to what others have said, performance aside the RX 590 is essentially an RX 580 with more squeezed out of it. The GTX 1660 Super is more efficient, cooler and quieter (if you choose a decent third party version).

The RX 590 is a bit pointless in the AMD line - best to go either for the RX 580 or Vega 56.
decent price for what you get imho for someone who just wants to get it and go. GPU easily upgradeable in future, motherboard is where i'd prefer something better but prebuilt always have a lower end mobo.
Now OOS

oh well
OK thanks I'll expire
I don't think this offer has expired, it's just in stock from the 27th.

As for the machine looks a reasonable spec for the cost.

I guess we both are in that same dilemma, i like the specs on it as well as the price as i dont intend to upgrade it any time soon for a good few years. The case is really nice as there are others which look horrible and have a nice kit inside them. I am not a hardcore pc gamer but only want to use it for exclusive games.
I've just recommended one of these to a friend as I think it's a reasonable spec for the money.

If I could customize it then I'd replace the hdd and ssd with a 1tb ssd and use a plain, smaller case without the led fans.
My friend ordered one so hopefully it's ok.

Has a better graphics card but no windows or HDD (also the SSD is very small), also looks like no Wi-Fi.

Seller feedback is good though.

Think the Alphasync deal is still the better option if you want something that works perfectly straight out the box. This could be good if you invest a bit more in it though.

Freshtech have been around for few years now.

Motherboard and PSU are higher quality as well. Not mention RAM as well.

Windows is easy to install and cheap through 3rd party (eBay and Google)

WiFi adapter is 5 quid of Amazon.
Warranty is practically same whilst labour is only 1 year on that eBay link. (Parts warranty on both is 1 year)

I believe the eBay link is much better value

15% performance difference between GPU (2060 being better choice)

Its what i though too, windows is very easy to install and costs £5 and can even get windows pro which would be ideal. I still am uncertain as to whether i should get this or pray and wait till tommorow for Ebay to drop a code and get the one i personally chose.
