I've heard that the most effective thing in this scenario is a thin pair of silk gloves. Haven't tested it out as I keep crashing motorbikes so not allowed another one

I view these as summer/spring gloves I'm afraid. Great value so have voted hot but if you're looking for a winter glove see the above recommendation of the Shimano glove, that looks far more capable

if you need to stay warm and appearances do not count, I'd recommend British Army Arctic mittens. The gortex outer shell might be enough in wilder winters.
No xxl listed so must be OOS

I tried that aswell, a pair of jasmine silk ones from Amazon - but anything below 5°c and my fingers start to go numb. Will have to triple layer it I think!

Excellent, which one and where ? Or are you just a silly 9yr old bored whilst off sick from school ?
thanks, hope they fit , bought for the cold wind (i did read the other comments that said that these aren't great at keeping your hands warm but they should give enough protection )
How are these for wearing outside normally (without a bike) will I freeze my fingers off ?
I do ride a lot but my question is can I wear these as winter gloves.
Only small left

You could return them, and donate the refund.

The charity will never get the full price on these.

Sure but they could get more than £7.50 for them, which is what he’d donate in your scenario.
