Have a heat. I usually get this on 3 for £3 that crops up at various supermarkets (Sainsbury currently) so 94p beats that obvs

Heat from me picked some up before. The Co-op sells it for £1.89, how they made a profit this year I'll never know ?

never seen it below a squid, have some Heat

4 pints of cow's milk for £1 at most supermarkets.

Which is no use whatsoever if someone is lactose intollerant.

This is great for making smoothies too

You can get 4 pints of water out of the tap cheaper too..

Calling it milk is a bit of a stretch, considering it contains 98% water.

And a TV for £399 in Currys.
I don't understand why you wrote this.

As opposed to cow milk, which is 88% water..

I've actually just started drinking this stuff - no reason, just fancied trying something different on my cereal - and I quite like it. Is it any better for me - I've no idea, but it is very low calorie so that's a plus.

The cancer scare on this stuff caused me to doubt the health benefits however I just carried on with it.something to do with the seaweed extract if I remember. I will pick some up later on way home as use on my cereal. heat added

I've started using the coconut one in my smoothies with frozen banana and strawberries. Lovely. Also nice on Rice Krispies too.

excellent price. Normally when its on offer it comes down to £1 (or 3 for £3) so this price is great. Lovely sfuff too

cool story, bro. but this isn't soya milk. soya milk is a different product. much like cows milk, much like water, much like sprouts, much like a surfboard.
Why is everyone comparing apples to oranges in this thread???

I don't think there has ever been a cancer scare except on the Internet and in the daily mail. If there was, vegans/veggies and most of Asia would be in trouble.

Most of the studies suggesting a cancer risk usually have another suggesting a protective effect or other health benefit. What's important though is that all of the studies aren't the best in any regard. They are quite often done in a lab using high doses of soy that the average person would struggle to eat daily. The consensus is that when eaten in moderation, there isn't a reason to avoid soy.

For some reason there are many myths about soya, when it's a fantastic alternative protein source.

I think you're thinking of carrageenan another food additive demonized by the internet. Similar to the soy bad science, very high doses used in animal studies found negative effects which is where most if not all of the scare stories came from. The tiny amount of food grade carrageenan in our diet is perfectly safe as concluded by most health authorities.

I have just swapped to this from milk and think it's amazing! Thanks op!!

They are all relevant to folk trying to avoid dairy. That's why coconut and soya products are being mentioned , oh, and cow milk too.

Try doing some proper research before posting Daily Mail headline material.

Alpro Almond Milk doesn't contain carrageenan which is the ingredient that was linked to the study.
