Regulars to Sainsbury's may have noticed their current meal deal, which is selected sandwiches, a packet of crisps and a drink for £2 (or less). However, there is also a 2 for £1.60 deal on for 500ml bottles of coke. So I have just bought;

2 x sandwiches £1.60 each
2 x crisps 40p each
2 x coke 97p each

Total costs £5.94

minus coke discount 34p
minus snack discount £1.94

Grand total £3.66.

Seemed to be a good deal, considering the sandwiches were going to be £3.20 on their own. It is along the same lines as the drink+chocolate bar deal posted earlier by chipstick. I wonder if you could combine all offers to make one huge meal...

I'm afraid I have no idea how long these offers are running for.

Even better considering you'd spend £3.00 alone on a moldy sandwich from a garage forecourt!
£4 for a tripple...

or share with a friend/colleague then you only pay £1.83 each for a sandwich, coke and crisps, bargain

Nah.... :whistling:

I spotted this at work the other day. If you're at a local one you save more as the drinks are £1.05 each, giving you 50p off instead of 34. So you get the same deal for £3.50!

Sorry, don't understand the maths on that :whistling: - at best the colleague thinks its £2 - so £2 for them and £1.66 for you surely, and if they don't even know about the meal deal - well, anything's fair ! :thumbsup:
