Voted cold, i live near manchester (about 1 1/2 hours from Alton Towers) and with a mini bus we can get there and back plus the ticket for £25.

Tesco are also giving out vouchers for free entry to Alton Towers, Legoland, Thorpe Park, The Dungeons, Warwick Castle, Chessington, Tassauds, Sealife Centres, etc - although you need to use them in conjunction with a paying adult. I don't know what makes you elegible - ah £10 transaction.

Good for Londoners though.
