Just booked one nights accommodation at Alton Towers Splash Landings Hotel for £35 per room including breakfast and entrance to the water park. There are a number of nights available but these tend to be on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. To get this price book through Lastminute.com as you will end up paying £55 if you go direct to altontowers.com.

If people are unsure if accommodation includes waterpark entrance then check out link below:
altontowers.com/pag…ark

It states:
Hotel guests can book a Waterpark package and get unlimited use of the Waterpark for the duration of their stay.

We booked the same deal last year which worked out quite cheap as long as you dont eat in the restaurant. You cant check into your room until 3pm but you can still arrive early to make use of the water park.

I know a similar deal was posted earlier in the week but this is £20 less and includes water park entrance.

Can't see where it says Waterpark entrance is included.

There are certainly £35 rooms available but these just seem to include Breakfast and doesn't the page link you gave just say that packages are available to book that include Waterpark entrance - not that all bookings do?

Any spash landings hotel accommodation includes entrance to the waterpark. You can always ring to confirm.

Bit bloomin chilly this time of year mind

no theme park open , sorry cold , wouldnt waste my time to travel there to just use the pool

Would certainly be best to check before booking if Waterpark entry important as looking at Feb Half Term dates for instance, on the Alton Towers website, there are separate prices depending on whether you want to book just B&B or include Waterpark as well.

no where does it say includes waterpark ,, so i would say NO it DOES NOT incl waterpark ,i would love to be proved wrong
this is what it says on site

On the Alton Towers website there are 2 booking options - Hotel only, or Hotel and Waterpark enterance which is twice the price.

I have just compared my recent booking reference email with the one i made last year (which included waterpark entrance) and they are exactly the same. I dont want to mislead people.

thats still not proof waterpark is included ,, i would give the hotel a ring with booking ref and get confirmation

I just called up Alton Towers as i was thinking of going for this offer for the first week in feb.
thew guy on the phone said unless it explicitly says it includes the water park then it probably doesnt.
he also said to book the hotel thru them and it would be £55 and then when the booking goes thru a day or so later - phone them to add the water park and you could get the arrival and departure day for £12.75 per person if its an overnighter.
which he reckoned was the best you could hope for.

i'm not trying to disprove the OP - i'd love it to be included but i'd hate to get there and be told to pay extra. and if it was the case you have to pay per day so it becomes more expensive.

Hope this helps.

Just returned from Splash Landings stay at Alton Towers. Swimming is not included this year unless it states so. It has been included via Lastminute.com on previous years but it is not this year. The write-up is a little misleading but I checked beforehand as it did not specifically say it was included.
Still had a great time - £35 for night in hotel and B&B for 4 is not bad. Swimming was extra though.
Local pub called The Star does reasonable meals.

Not voting on this deal until entrance to the waterpark is confirmed. Red hot if it is.....pretty cold without it (extra £50-odd for a family of 4 just using the rates of £12.75 a person) takes it up to nearly £90.....plus dinner.

I take it you had a party of 4 adults? NO WAY could I take my kids to a waterpark themed hotel, get them all excited about it and then when they get there everyones having a great time and I have to tell them "No swimming for you kids - but you can jump on the beds"

agree with Johnboy_1975. Great deal if waterpark entrance is included. Not so great if just hotel and no waterpark.

It's worth bearing in mind if youve got young kids they do a Parent & Toddler Ticket for the Waterpark for £5 for 1 adult + 1 toddler - and you get a drink each included in the price.

Haven't done this since last year as our eldest is now in school and we're tied to holiday dates, so best to check the website for latest details, but last time I looked it was any weekday morning in term time.

Course we took the kiddies swimming!
£35 for room and B&B and £42 for swimming for family of 2 adults and 2 children.
Shame swimming was not included though!

Escape to the Alton Towers Resort and stay in one of our two fantastically themed hotels for just £55 per room! While you are here, why not make your visit extra special? Splash about in our tropical Waterpark, play a-round on our Extraordinary Golf course, or relax in the Alton Towers Spa.*

The price includes bed and breakfast for up to four people and is valid Sunday to Friday until March 27 2009, excluding 14 to 21 February 2009.

*An extra charge applies for the Alton Towers Waterpark, Extraordinary Golf and the Alton Towers Spa.
£55 offer price may not be used in conjunction with any other offers. Rooms are subject to availability

Sounds more promising, don't suppose a five year old counts as a toddler though? So me and my lad would be ok, the missus and my daughter would have to pay full price!

although i think it doesnt include the waterpark, when you actually look at the £55 booking on lastminute.com it says under facilities it includes pool and spa with no indication that this is charged extra, so could be worth booking then getting in contact with alton towers to see if your booking referance includes park entry, if not contact lastminute.com and complain. worst that can happen they have to cancel your reservation free of charge due to false advertising.

All the dates I can do are either £55 per night or £110 shame cos for the last 2 years we have managed to book this for cheap through last minute and last year that included the waterpark ! I did ring lastminute when the £55 rooms came up and was told it did not include the waterpark.

Ignoring the waterpark bit, 35 quid for B&B for a family of four is a bargain, although be warned, the buffet breakfast at Alton Towers is truely awful!

why is this expired?

We are going for 2 nights this February half term.
We had to pay for the waterpark - it was not included in the price of the hotel rooms at Splash Landings.

Just saying.

I have done this deal (or similar deals) for the past 4 or 5 years. Waterpark entry is RARELY included in these deals, but once or twice has been included.

So always check first, and don't assume that because it was last time that it will be this time.
