Not bad if you're wanting to go for a new year splash around. Works out at £34 each and you get a day in the waterpark, a night in the Alton Towers hotel, parking and your breakfast included.

A few dates available too, so far I've found this price on the following dates

January 29/30/31
February 1/4/5/6/7/8/25/26/27/28
March 1/4/5/6/7/8/11/12/13/14/15/16

I thought it looked good for the cash, it's worth noting that the main park is closed over these dates though

Just book 2 adults. If you arrive 1 adult and 1 child there won’t be an issue.

They were just been jobs worth at the deep, meant we couldn't use 3 for 2 voucher

Adult to child ratio's are strict at Alton towers water park.
Good deal. Booked! Heat added
Why would you wanna go here without any kids??
I’m not sure why you would with kids it’s usually overcrowded and only passes a couple of hours max.

How do you know? Traditionally places won’t let an adult use a child ticket due to the increase in cost but vice versashouldn’t be a problem. Just say you were going to bring an adult but they got poorly!!

Went here last year and it was brill..
The only good thing about this place is the buffet the actual water park is very lame just 4 slides and a lazy river and a splash area very dissapointed and my kids were bored within an hour also the rooms are less than travelodge quality.
Water park in jan Feb or March 😨
We normally go in feb each year with our 4 kids, they all love it and always want to go back they are teen to teenies. Lots for all ages there and they are never in a hurry to leave. Evening meals are a bit steep but you sorta expect that really. There is usually eve entertainment too singer/disco type arrangment dependant on the hotel. Prob more child friendly in the cbeebies (never stayed there) and I would imagine you can visit any of the hotels for the eve ents regardless of where you stay on site. We had a tree house last Feb it was fab.

Suppose it depends on the age and/or mentality of your kids. Our two loved it and have spent two full days there, and still ask to go back - despite visiting loads of other places.

There aren't many better waterparks in the uk
Is this ok for two adults and 1 kid age 3

Buffet good, but very very expensive. Breakfast buffet good too, and included normally.

I think outdoor is closed at this time of year, was when i went a few years back anyway
I’m a regular and go every year at least ,went this year for the Christmas sleep over ,the pool outside opens at 11am it’s great fun especially when it’s icy outside .

We stayed in the voyager room and we have stayed in the lodges ,I think the hotel is better as the secrect garden is a lot better to eat in out of all the restaurants.

Would book this but only just been
Break? What do they break this time?
I’d rather keep my legs thanks
So with the ratio does that mean you have to take a child? What happens if you don't have any?
Hi please could someone send me a link as not in uk at present thanks get the deal doesn't seem to work whenever outside thanks in advance

Why would you wanna go here without any kids??

Because water parks are fun for all ages? It's a shame adults are viewed with such suspicion for things like this in the UK. On the continent no one would think it odd that an adult might enjoy a fun leisure activity.

Generally speaking it's people in positions of authority or family members that are a threat to kids. Or ofcourse the grooming gang demographic.

You must have some very spoilt, demanding kids then ! All mine love it and could spend a weekend there with the family without getting bored.

I do agree that some waterparks are fun for all ages, but imo this one isn't - it's very much geared toward younger children, and there really isn't that much for grown ups.
I've been a few times and as a family we have a great time, but I wouldn't fancy going without the kids
Has anyone tried weekend dates?! Want to book but needs to be weekend as I've got no annual leave left

The two big slides are good and the outdoor/ indoor warm bubbly lazy river thing is good for adults and yeah the rest is for kids. It isnt Tenerife Octopus standards but its ok if you get a cheap deal. Though I wouldnt mind trying the Barnsley waterpark instead next time.

Demanding no spoilt well I've taken them to blizzard beach, typhoon lagoon, wet n wild, aquatica all in Florida also several large Waterparks in Spain so I suppose you could say they're spoilt
