Aldi are getting some in for £15 on Thursday if they're any good for anyone?

They don't sell small sizes, which is a shame as they tend to make quite good kit 😞

Thank you, bought some for my husband but he wasn’t overly complimentary about the brand.

Doesn’t sound particularly great full, what a nice guy. I’d be happy if my wife bought me a inner tube.

I own many high brand bid shorts but always default to altura for a longer ride, really good pad and really well made, thanks for the post, always nice they they aren't black too.

Pretty happy with Ale reduced bibs on sportpursuit. Fit 2 metres tall men and offer SPF 50 protection from the sun!

Will have to look at those, was a bit shocked to see Altura have an XXL man at 183cm, the waists not much either so I'm not sure what they consider to be a large man as usually it's either waist or height not both that's small.

what is advantage of these over cycling shorts + top?

I think they are more comfortable than normal padded shorts, less compression around the waist, you still should wear a jersey with them.
