Ordered thanks OP
The black with the stripe ! - perfect road camouflage from car drivers - they'd even struggle to locate you after a collision and trying to scrape you off the tarmac - never fails to amaze me why so much cycling gear is designed without a thought for being seen

I'd go for the blue or red - higher visibility - might be a life saver

Bought one of these at this price (red) very good piece of kit and an absolute steal at the price. Probably a bit warm for daytime use right now but good for summer mornings/evenings and Spring and Autumn use (or layering in winter with jacket over).
n3m3s1s is may not be obvious from the picture but the hi-vis stripe is extremely bright precisely for visibility and there is a wide hi-Vis strip about 6 ins wide on the back. You are possibly aware that bright hi vis colours stand out stronger against a darker background. Rest assured, only a driver not paying attention would fail to see a cyclist with one of these on.

Yep the high vis stripe bit is good - but not the black. The stripe only may not register as " a cyclist" in a split second decision on a junction or amongst other traffic or a busy high street. The black just doesn't register against tarmac or dark back ground. Also depends on the angle - can't see stripe from some angles - will only see the black. If rider hunched over or at various angle to driver stripe detail / visibility is lost. I would always chose brighter colours.

There is a lot to take in on the road, so much easier to be seen in brighter colours - your life depends upon it - so why do so many cycle-wear designers / cyclists choose black ?
